Mj Abusalameh I totally agree! I act just like him in public not to be sassy or anything but just being honest I mean if someone asks me why I seem stressed out I'd tell them just what he said, why would I need to sugar coat it to appeal to them in an emotional way? He was just being honest and wasn't in the least bit rude.
I think I could hit those low notes and I’m an untrained female singer. He didn’t have any emotions in the song, and he was enunciating WAY too much. He sounded like a mopy teenager afterwards.
@Arnie re: talented and weathlier.. Lmao wealthier..?.. shes not ya fool..she suckd to get money..not earned it.. idiot.. Both those bitches failed judging Andrews singing. He’s pretty damn good.. they are triggered and proud hoes.. Paula would have voted him thru. American Idols loss
@@e.d.a4743 I busted out laughing at that line. It was no natural but said everything. Basically it was his 'oh I really care what you think, but not really" response.
This man entered in with a ton of negative energy, irritated Simon, sang a halfway decent audition, got irked and made an enemy out of one of the girl judges, somehow made a friend out of Simon, transferred all of his negative energy onto the other judges, made them argue like dogs barking at each other, and somehow left with a more positive attitude then I would have excepted. Fucking legendary.
Arnie Wince kara was unprofessional. Its a fact. Id say id name 10 worse auditions than him in which kara said yes to the guy. So yeah she behaved like a 14 year old girl who didnt like a boy
@@arniewince7133 No, in no aspects is it ever okay to act unprofessional towards someone, especially in the music industry. She went overboard and insulted him on other levels that had NOTHING to do with his singing. And you cannot compare her to Simon because at least Simon will criticize someone's talent and not if they have a girlfriend or not. The way she acted was completely uncalled for and she shouldn't have blown up at him the way she did. There's no excuse for that
@@arniewince7133 Nope. He wasn't that bad. She was worse than him. I swear, if it were a male in her place people would be going crazy. But since she's a female nobody will put her in her place and admit she did anything wrong. And that's a fact.
secretphoenix24 Uhn...I don’t mean to sound like an asshole but I meant the literal quote “That’s a no from me dawg” this one is kinda different, don’t kill me
This is why I like Simon Cowell, he's real. His voice wasn't that bad and he judged him for his voice. He was just very socially awkward he deserved a chance. Doesn't help the lady honestly asked why he was upset and he had an honest answer
no simon said yes because he knew one single yes cant help fucking nothing, its like playing around with it, its actually even more disgusting than the other three dogshits
This man is absolutely hilarious. He was done with American Idol before he even made it into audition room. I wish he would have vlogged his experience
I liked him right away. Maybe its because I'm socially awkward too so I was kind of translating his words through my own filter. It seems pretty clear that when he said "I'm here to try out for American Idol obviously" he didn't mean it with any malice, but was simply trying to make light of the fact that he didn't have some elaborate story as some contestants do. When socially awkward people get nervous, they tend to try to break the ice with witty or sarcastic remarks, but sometimes it goes wrong like that.
I liked him since the beginning of his introduction. Maybe that’s because I’m autistic and my peers react to me the same way the judges reacted to Andrew. There’s nothing wrong with being a little “weird”.
He is a legend!!! He was super honest! He was to the point. He had a good voice. And he was just explaining that his voice wasn't on sharp edge due to the ridiculous waiting time which I agree with. And then the women were in love with him. And when Simon says "learn from this" Simon was pretty much saying, "yeah, this is a crap business to be involved with." I love Andrew
Have you ever lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, looked wuth lust? if so you need to repent today and Believe in Jesus Christ to save you from Hell and go to heaven instead
Kara was being very unprofessional she targeted him personally. He just seemed really nervous when I’m nervous I do dumb shit too. And honestly he had a really nice voice!
smh! Yeah! Blame it on dumb shit. He did an ok job of the song but everything about him is terribly off and I was glad she spoke it how it was. He resembles many of the killers I worked with at the prison with his air of grandiosity and arrogance. People like that should get their asses thrown right out the door.
@@loriannecaranchini6283 Do you think personally attacking someone is ever okay? She didn't even comment on his singing and that was the point. Simon and Randy did but she verbally criticized him and borderline threatened him too. Saying he needs a spanking that's just.. That's not okay. 🤦
@@mimi9074 Of course it is ok! It is expected! People who put themselves out there to be judged are doing exactly that--putting themselves in a position to be judged. When someone acts a fool like this guy, he damn well better expect to be called out for it. And it doesn't really matter how well he sings if his attitude is such that he will blow any chance he gets anyway. A sense of entitlement can cause one to expect different treatment but those expectations are in fantasy life not reality.
@@loriannecaranchini6283 No honey.. No.. They didn't even comment on his singing, which is why he went there in the first place. They personally attacked him, especially that ugly lighter girl. If they commented on his singing, that would be different. But they commented on other things that had NOTHING to do with him as a singer like his relationship status and how he had to be spanked. Now attitude is different but what I just mentioned was completely different. And he wasn't rude at all, if you think that I sincerely think you're a damn fool and should stop looking into things so much.
I showed this to my son (16) and the first thing he said was “He has autism.” He recognized his own. Me as a mom instantly recognized it when he kept talking about the waiting. They are in an auditorium, filled with hundreds of people. That must have been torture for his sensory input. Then when he said he thought he was showing confidence. Awe my heart broke. You can see he was genuinely confused and apologetic. That was genuine reactions. Ironically, my 16 y/o has been acting like this and then this video came up on my suggestions. So it furthered the discussion on his awareness of his words and behavior. I wish I could tell him he was seen, and 💯 understand he wasn’t trying to be rude.
Nowadays you can say everyone is autistic. It's ridiculous. Some kind of new trendy thing ? I'm introvert it means I'm automatically autistic???? Give me a break
You can do that to cartoon characters or movie characters. You don't just go "You. Autism." to real ass people. Yes, it is possible one can have it. But you don't just go saying someone's autistic confidently
I get it 100% I'm diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome and I am often misunderstood. I knew in the first 30 seconds of this video that Andrew was on the spectrum.
This dude deserved to go to Hollywood. It’s 6 YEARS later and I’m still coming back to this video to hear him sing the song, the rest is just whipped cream
guy rich Nah, disagree. I think she may have been a little afraid of how brooding and aggressive his energy is, like she might have been concerned he might be a little unstable, but I really don't think she liked him at all, especially sexually. He's a very grimy and cringey presence, and with a huge sense of entitlement to boot...I think I'd have the same reaction if he was in front of me :p
T. Zachary Yes but you know, the opposite of love is indifference, not hate. If he gave her a "strong reaction," that says a lot about the power he has over her.
She's a judge--not only of singing but of attitude, impression, etc. It's her job to be reactive like that; the strength of her reaction was just a byproduct of how strong his negative impression on her was.
@@DannyHsn These judges arent just looking for a singer..theyre looking for a star..someone who would be a role model to kids and has the All American Aura about them..which includes a good attitude..you will not get where you want to be in life with an attitude like his..unless youre a comedian..
Have you ever lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, looked wuth lust? if so you need to repent today and Believe in Jesus Christ to save you from Hell and go to heaven instead
Kara saying he needed a "spanking" for being "very naughty" then shortly after, asking him if he's "ever had a girlfriend" in a condescending tone. I can only assume she was sexually repressed/frustrated and felt some kind of attraction to him but masked it with the rudeness. Or maybe i'm just looking way too into it
I think Kara was being way more rude than he was. He never personally attacked the judges, he never got angry at the judges, he was just on edge from waiting all day. And for Kara to personally attack him like that was very unprofessional and rude of her.
He wasn't on edge from waiting all day, he is just an on edge person, who I think knows that, but knew he couldn't say that. He just seems trapped in his mind and can't seem to let go
The most memorable American Idol contestant ever. He's got it all stage actor, comedian and singer all in one. Excellent live performer and knows how to make it interesting. Perfect way to end "see ya later ladies" classic
@Snow_Dark Haha you sure as hell are an edgy teen aren't you. You find everything cringy. 2 out of 3 of your youtube uploads even contain the words 'cringe' in it. Pathetic
i have an anxiety disorder and i cant imagine waiting for several hours to audition under all that stress too. andrew, u killed it, u were just under pressure and u at least apologized.
monika i have the same problem! Waiting drive me nut! But working as an actor makes me learn to be more patient, because sometimes you got to wait a whole day. Knowing how to keep it cool is a big factor in the business.
“Have you ever had a girlfriend?” That’s just unbelievable she would even say something like that. No one knows what it’s like to be awkward, and she’s shaming him because of it? Try being awkward a day, and I bet she wouldn’t handle it. Andrew has to live like that his whole life. Then again, she couldn’t handle it just a couple minutes when was just talking with him! I wish the best of luck to Andrew, he deserves to have a good life after all of the heck he’s been through.
I think what a lot of people don't realize about being socially awkward is that you can often come across as having a bad attitude. People expect you to act scared or weak, but when I'm in an uncomfortable situation I just get pissed. I can't imagine waiting for 3 hours, already being in a bad mood, having no idea when it's my turn, and then suddenly just shoved out there and told to sing and immediately called an asshole for not being happy about it all.
The girl Was straight up rude,Even though His Attitude Was Kinda Horrible,SHe Even attacked simon,Like What was that for,She Attacked Simon gosh darnet
I think what happened here was he makes people insecure with his brutal honesty and unique personality, he's oddly humble yet a smart ass.. it makes for a hilarious combination. Very likeable dude and great voice.
I watched the full audition and genuinely, he wasn’t rude at all, and even when he was, he apologized. The most rude people were the judges. They are 100% in the wrong.
The judges ask him what's wrong, he answers them with he is tired of waiting... Then they get upset with his answer, I mean they asked him and he answered
Jkfireball12 they getupset bc he was tired of sitting in a chair waiting when theirs people out in the world who would years spending their life trying to get a chance i would get mad to
Considering all the asshole things Simon has unnecessarily said to contestants, it's ironic Simon would be so susceptible to getting butthurt over this guy lol, and he wasn't that bad of a singer either. I bet if you had a young John Lennon come into that room and audition he would've been a bit of a smart ass too lol. Kara's a bitch.
Yeah this guy is fricken cool as shit. They made a big mistake on not letting him go forward.. I hope some smart director finds this guy and offers him a role in a movie!
I love this man lol. Beautiful, evocative voice, and such charisma. (The girl on the end totally noticed it, she only grew vexed because she wanted to go out with him, lol.)
I actually like his voice a lot. I wish he would do a cover of this song. I literally have heard nothing like it. I find myself singing his version of it. It's almost like a frank sinatra version.
Okay... this guy is far from rude. What the hell is up with Kara. There have been way ruder contestants than this guy. This guy was totally nervous, and before he walked in it was evident. I just think the waiting was making him more nervous, and he just came off wrong. Both of the girls took it too far in my opinion.
Kara fucking asked him why he was angry, and he gave his honest opinion. I don’t blame him, like jesus, Kara. Very unprofessional and he had a very talented voice.
Umm... No. He was pretty bad. The personality he tries to give when he sings is very poor and trust me; they are professional judges, they easily see the tone and they were right. He was pretty bad as a singer. And no his opinion may be honest but it's deluded how he thinks.
@@ookipuki Calm down you 2019 idiotic person. Your sole argument is to apparently judge him offsolely a 13 second segment of the whole thing... and you think that makes you smarter? No... You can't just point to the part that supports your point of view and plug your ears to the rest, that called being childish and simplistic
1:17 “and why are you here Andrew?” “I am here auditioning for American Idol, that should be fairly obvious” Give that man a medal and a standing ovation, that absolutely killed me
"You need a spanking cuz you're naughty" "Do you even have a girlfriend?" "Are you married?" You hear that, folks? This is the type of replies you'd hear a woman say when she lowkey wants to sleep with the guy, but are too stuck up to admit it. That's also why she felt uncomfortable and said she "wanted to take a shower", too, because she lied to herself.
Exactly right me friend. She wanted him so bad it was killing her. She would let him F her six ways to Sunday and it was eating her alive because she so full of herself
The judges were more annoying than he was espcially what's her face that whined about his whining. He was tired, anxious, nervous, they should have understood. And, he had a good voice.
Kara: "You're telling me you're annoyed from waiting all day, when some even wait for years.." Kara, girl, you get on edge too when you wait too long to get your drink at Starbucks. Wth you sayin? Lol
I think Andrew's voice is quite impressive. Idw what's wrong with the Kara girl. She's supposed to be professional. The remarks about spanking and gf are really too far away from professional
I actually tried to search for him on facebook and looks like he really is successful in the field of art. He paints and composes beats via coding. i would say he's actually pretty good in what he does.
@@Driessens_Peter Shwienehund! There is a very important aspect in singing and that's personality. He does have personality when he sings but his tone has bad energy. Trust me; they are professionals judges, they can recognize tone. And yes... Attitude does matter in the music industry. Even if he made it through, no one would approve of him cause of his terrible ego of his so called "Talent" and tone.
@@Driessens_Peter Well that's his image and that's what suits him but not with Andrew here. Andrew seems like a fair and maybe firm young chap so I don't think a harsh tone would credit him.
i can't comprehend how the girls turned out to hate him with such burning passion. 'you deserve a spanking' is possibly the most embarassing thing an adult female, the judge, can tell a grown man, the auditioner. 'simon, you have an attitude but you're at least charming' while, first of all, simon is the only one being fair here and second of all THAT GUY IS ACTUALLY ATTRACTIVE WTF
Agree. She seemed to be trying to behave as Simon Cowl, except he was simply being sarcastic and funny as all competitors expected from him on AI instead of being mean. Maybe she just needs practice :)
All these years later I come back to watch this its entertaining he's obviously on the Spectrum and the women are too dumb to see that because he's good looking he's Clark Kent when he takes off those glasses he's Superman this guy is cool how can you not like him?
