@@frostbite8696 You read it wrong as a ethnic thing. I take it as Iam who sings with emotion, makes people cry and sings soulfully right through his heart. I did not think about his ethnicity. I was thinking that when people can do that to you and be a story teller, his sincere and heartfelt demeanor, his friendly and humorous banter. He makes friends with anyone, he respects his elders. He hugs everyone, calls them his brother or sister. We need more people like that. instead of the hate that is going through America right now, this is what America needs, more people like Iam.

I was once an A list Agent, represented a really humble guy and I thought he would never succumb to the fakeness of the biz, he slowly turned into a MONSTER, it will do it to anybody surrounded by people who adore you even if you piss on them, it's like that with money too.

It won't. Because he'll be coming back home to Hawaii recording here. He was raised strong willed and is aware of that industry. I trust he will stay true to his roots. It's all for his family and now it be for himself and his future as well.

Yes. Hawaii lost a good one in Israel K. He was really big and died young. I remember seeing him performing in a mall there years ago, and he was using oxygen. I'd hate for that to happen to Tongi, too.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Zenobia. I also routed for him from the get go with his awesome audition of singing Monsters. I also lost my father as a child. Hearing that beautiful voice and the powerful words to that song had me crying uncontrollably. Iam doesn't have a powerful voice like most singers but his voice is pure and comes from the heart. I will be 66 in a few days and my dad's b-day would have been this past Saturday (5/20). I still tell him today in my prayers how very much I love him and miss him. I have listened to Iam sing Monsters over and over and over and remember the wonderful memories of my beloved father 🥰. I, also have enjoyed every song that he has performed. I think Iam has touched the world because he is so real with his feelings and all his performances mean something special to him. He isn't just singing out words to a song...he is singing out words from his heart. The one thing I didn't understand from you, Zenobia, was when you wrote that on "female money doesn't change..." What did you mean by female money? Thank you for posting such a lovely comment.
