Them hills make artist like him. He is near the “country music highway”. Country music royalty comes from this small towns. Must be something in the water.
My whole family does construction style work and I’ll tell you that normally they all have a radio playing while working. I’m sure this guy sang all the time on the job and his buddy was like dude what the hell are you doing here.
And it's heartwarming to see a young man so family oriented at that age. I think he actually turned 20 on the show. So he was 19 when he auditioned. I think that maturity, coupled with his humility, his all around likeability and of course his raw talent helped him to grab the convetted titled. His looks doesn't hurt either😂😁😁
No fancy outfits or other gimmicks. Just a man, his sweet, smooth, mellow, voice and his guitar. This is what America needs a voice to really listen to. He's definitely an AMERICAN IDOL!!!

I have just discovered Noah for 2hours now, everytime I listened to him singing I started crying, and i dunno why, and me as a singer he really inspired me. 🇲🇦
Every time I watched Noah's videos, I cried. I couldn't explain how he inspired me, and I couldn't help but feel that he made a voice for all those who didn't have a lot of opportunities. Noah inspired not only Americans but the whole world as well with his exceptional personality and talent. I will be forever rooting for your lasting joy and success.

American Idol Is racist , don't nobody win this bull crap but you all and not bcoz you sing better , it boils down to being white no doubt about it . I've seen some black kids on there who sang circles around some of the same white folks who won this crap and everytime they got voted off bcoz racist white folks would rather vote for a mediocre white kid to win rather than vote for a black kid who could really , really sing . I hope that these black kids will just stop going on this basically all white show wasting their time . I don't understand how in the hell Lionel Richie could just sit there like a sellout and not say nothing after seeing every year these black kids get voted off consistently so a white one could win . Even if every black person in America voted it still wouldn't be enough to get them across the finish line . I mean this kid sounds just like every other country singer whining basically . To make this fair for all involved , they need to create a better voting system and not leave this in the hands of the American People bcoz their decision is definitely biased .

That was one of my favorite parts of the story, when they brought out the role Arthur played in the whole AI journey. Loved it when they brought him out for the Golden Ticket, the brotherly bond 'tween the two of them was so heartwarming!
He has been one of my absolute favorite contestants on American idol. I could listen to him all day. He’s such a humble man, with jus an amazing and powerful voice. He always nailed the performances. He definitely deserved that win!!

I've met so many country boys sang down here in Kentucky, and I was like damn Im so glad I got here that song. One of the beautiful songs I have ever heard. Bring tears to your eyes, make you felt the Love of God deep in your soul.

His COVID performances nailed it for me - you can tell a lot about a performer when they are confronted with a challenge. No excuses performance. Delivered and nailed the performances. He never faltered. I believe he gained confidence after going through this that propelled him to win. Absolute professional level of conduct. I liked his choices in songs throughout - not just sticking to country though he put his own spin on each song. The episode that he moved around the stage was brilliant - it was at that moment that I knew he'd win. Constant growth and improvement. He took weeks to progress through what many had done in years. And throughout, Noah was always Noah. He never made it seem like he was impersonating other singers. And he peaked at the right time even as the others just kinda treaded water. Congrats to you and to your family and wish you much success!
I don’t even watch American idol but I saw Noah’s audition video through Facebook and I loved his voice and how genuine of a person he was. After that I started following his American idol journey and only his. I just knew he could win it all and I’m so glad he did! I hope he continues to go far after this because I would love to add his music to my country playlist. ❤

As you go through Noah’s time on American Idol , you can hear his voice mature and get richer without changing the basic essence of him as a performer. My take: he’ll go far. Plus he knows how to make great friends! Go Arthur!

How you gonna forget Chris Stapleton, Keith Whitley, even Billy Ray Cyrus just to name a few.. All from around that area between Paintsville and Ashland
I've gotta add one whose name isn't a household word but whose songs are...Troy Seals. He could be called the Father of Country Soul (in the Chris Stapleton vein). Now in his 80's the man's voice, like Noah's, was a blend of country and R&B soul! He was born in Bighill in 1939. His daddy was a coal miner. Troy gave it a go as an artist in the 70's but after a couple of record company shut downs, carved out his niche as a songwriter with cuts by the likes of Elvis (whose Troy Seals' song "Pieces Of My Life" while never a single, was, imo, one of the greatest songs he ever recorded), Roy Orbison, Eric Clapton, Conway and Loretta, Willie, Wayon, Vince Gill, Ronnie Milsap, Ray Charles, Dobie Gray, Mike Reid, Wynnona, and more! I know I'm leaving out some but you get the picture. I'd rather listen to any of Troy Seals demos than alot of what you hear on radio! One of Troy's prolific go-to co-writers, Eddie Setser, also in that Chris Stapleton vein, was from Corbin. Something 'bout Kentucky, its country roots run deep in the veins of musical greatness. I just had to mention Troy for sure an unsung standout as being a native of the great state of Kentucky. He by the way possessed that same humble personality and great humor, as well as guitar and vocal chops that Noah has. He also worked in construction while honing his musical gifts, before ultimately high tailing it to Nashville. Almost like he could a been up there in Noah's family tree somewhere! Long lost great grandpa!! I just had to mention this lesser known Kentucky native. who is actually in the Country Songwriter's Hall Of Fame. I worked with him in the 70's and I greatly admired the man and his music...still do!
This is how a real singer should be… all from his soul!!!! Very genuine personality. This is how a singer should be.. giving all his skills in singing.. no gimmicks, no acting, no drama on stage, just singing his heart out.
I never missed a night that American idol was on. And I've watched every video I've seen of Noah's more then once he is a beautiful person with an amazing voice and he loves his son and family. God Bless him and his family. I am so happy he won this show this season

I love the improvement from each stage of the competition. You could see the development, he becomes better as he progresses. So it's not just about his story. He put in the required work to become better and attain success. A hardworker is a hardworker whether at construction or singing. Success is about putting in the work.
Good ol’ country boy has got what it takes to be one of the best ever!!! And everything he sings is from the heart…. And that’s what makes Him one of the best I’ve heard in a long long while.

It’s amazing to see his transformation in his journey through the show , he had low self confidence when he started. It’s nice to see everything build together and to see it show through in his singing , image and style. It had all changed right down to the hair ! lol pretty dope!

I still have the record with the original singer burning house. I thought this was such a beautiful song and noah killed it. Every song Oscar material. His voice is so natural and with a voice like this you can sing just about any song out there.🥰
This is the more pure, straight up, what you see is what you get performer and musician ive seen on this show. And his music speaks! Everything he says, you listen. Not to mention, his humbleness is absolutely a breath of fresh air. Something about him just says..."no way....ME? SERIOUSLY??" and you cant help get behind that. YES YOU! YOU'RE TALENTED BELIEVE IT!

He had a unique voice. One only identifiable to Noah and no one else. People hear the voice on a new song, and they will say " Hey! Thats Noah. Must be a new song." Hope he never changes. The celebrity life is hard
