I live in Tampa, Florida. My family and I recently returned from a 12-day vacation in Austria. It was the best trip that I have ever taken. We did not want to leave. It is a beautiful country. We visited Vienna and Salzburg. Makes me want to move to Austria.

Wonderful video! I'm Austrian but I've never been to Bregenz because I live on the other side of the country and the train connections from my area to Vorarlberg are awful. But after seeing your video, I really want to go!
@@austrianadventure ,,, love your videos. My wife and I currently live in Seattle. . We're looking at homes around Bodensee. I found three that I really like in Meersburg. I am the one with the Austrian citizenship and my wife is US/Canadian. We are in the process of relocating back to Austria. But we're going to soft travel and jump around Europe. If we become a tax resident (183 days or more in one country) it will probably be on the German side because the taxes are too high on the Austrian side. Keep up the Great work,,,, maybe we will run into each other on the beautiful paths around the lake 👍🙋♂️.

Leberkäse is really good. My favourite is Käse leberkäse mit senf... Im actually on vacation next week and will be spending a few nights in Lech... so keep an eye out for some hiking videos next week !
If you move there it doesn't exactly classify as "hometown" but go off, I guess? lol Though there IS a fitting word for that sort of thing in German, we say "Wahlheimat" (elected homeplace) for this sort of thing. =D
Great stuff. Just curious what lead you to settle in Austria. Did your family come from there? I have grandparents from Linz, have been there twice and love it. I fantasize about moving there someday. Maybe Bad Ischl.

@@berkeleymom-2666 Chad lives in Bregenz, (state of Vorarlberg) where people actually speak a dialect that is extremely similar to the Swiss dialects. This has to do with the fact that the inhabitants of Switzerland, Vorarlberg and parts of southern Germany (Swabia,...) are descendants of the Germanic tribe of the Alemanni.
Hey ! Im not much of a winter person... so I haven't been doing much just working or sitting at home. This weekend was finally warm enough to get out on my bike but that doesn't make for an interesting video (ive tried).
