The Mizos did not lose the war, neither did the Indians. The insurgency was over when The Government of India and The Mizo National Front (Due to the request of Churches and NGOs) signed a peace agreement on the June 30th of 1986. The Indian Government nor the Mizo National Front were fully satisfied with the Peace accord.
Yeah, but transport cost is normally higher than mainland India, so i hope they will not mistaken as scam, its normal for us too, it can be Rs.100 for short distance which is too high compare to other state in India...
Compare to other states, here in mizoram the road is not much good and is hilly type. It consume more Fuel compare to plane area. Also, Fuel price is much high in mizoram@@maremaralte5939
@@maremaralte5939 it is because mizoram is hilly areas unlike other state and need lots of big gear (1st gear/ something like that) to run a car that cause more fuel than running at a plain land
I am crazy about the music of Mizoram. My top 10 favorite Mizo songs are following: 1) Kimkima: I zun ngaih lunglen (2019). Kimkima sounds like Lobo. 2) K Hminga and Sangtei Khuptong: Awm lo Tala (2020), K Hminga is like Mark Knopfler. 3) Cassettes: E Khai (2021) this is a blues song like Elmore James or John Lee Hooker. 4) Zaii Hauchhum and Vanlalhmangaiha: Hmangaihte Hmangaihna (2022), another great blues song 5) Saiwanah and Mary Dawngi: Ka Pa Khuma (2023), this song is like Chain by Fleetwood Mac. 6) Mami Varte: Damlai Par (2007), really great song especially the guitar solo in middle is amazing. 7) Sangtei Khuptong: Di Ruk Te (2023), like Gloria Gaynor I will survive. 8) C Sanga: Tawmang Lasi (2007) 9) Michelle Varte: Nachhawkna (2022), she is like Kylie Minogue of late 1980s. 10) Elizabeth Zodinpuii: Valmawi (2005) I have following public playlists Top 25 Mizo Artists, top 25 Mizo songs Mizo Top 75 songs, I keep playing this in shuffle mode. Mizo 460 songs.
U prolly don't realise how happy it makes me to see foreigners coming to our small state that barely gets any media coverage. We just be chillin fr. I'm gonna go to college in Aizawl city this year. I was born and raised outta state so I'm loving every moment of me being here in Mizoram since my arrival last month.
i am amazed that most of the tourists are stuck in varanasi, delhi and mumbai, why dont these guys ever go deep and explore other parts of the country, hats off to ya

Thank you Benjamin for taking the time to explore and showcase our hometown Aizawl, Mizoram to the world. On behalf of my Mizo brothers and sisters I would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude. Also, I would like to request you to please comeback and give more time to explore our God's given magnificent mountains, fountains, lakes and rivers with your friends and family. God Bless!

Beautiful!!! The people are so cute. Can’t wait for Nagaland ❤ I hope they fix that bridge in the beginning there. A bit scary.😢 I hope the northeast states get funding for development too.
@@Vidilhounuo No, but it’s always been a dream to visit Nagaland and all the Northeast Indian states. The people are so beautiful inside and out.🥲….Like you are 🫶. You’re gorgeous 🥰
Don't be surprised if the comment section is slowly taken over by comments in Mizo and replies to those comments in Mizo as well and they'll get a lot of likes . Please note that I do not mean this in a negative way and there's nothing wrong if it happens and this is not an attempt to demean anyone, I'm just stating a possibility that might occur, speaking from experience....
Glad to see an American coming to our state, I'm INSIDE of Mizoram, speak fluent English bc of RU-vid, Made a RU-vid to try out how hard it is. And here I wanna see more Americans coming to our state(I think). I'm gonna say that you should visit more the parts of Mizoram. I'd like to watch more Vlogs of you! New sub has arrived.❤️

I was in Bangalore and made a friend who was from Mizoram but studying in the south at the time. Never heard of the place until meeting her and wanted to visit ever since. ♥️
When I was in primary school, my history teacher once visited the far east. The way he described it, he was chased by people with pitchforks and torches. It was the 1980s though. A lot seems to have changed in the last 40 years. My parents knew people who shared similar stories. Also, fun fact. The far east has the highest density of languages, most likely due to isolated communities due to the difficulty of building infrastructure. KFC in Asian countries is on par with chick-fillet in USA. (usually) Mountainous regions have higher cost of living, reflected by the food and housing costs. It is still higher than non-far-eastern mountainous regions due to poor logistics.

Hey! That was a good one. Try visiting Manipur also! The awesome palace of Kangla and the largest women only market, the Ima Market. The Loktak lake which has the world's only floating national park! Though it is not the best time to visit because of intense flooding situation, but the choice is yours❤ maybe you can visit Manipir at last after every NorthEast state, so the flood is gone.
Ben u remind me a lot about Andy Schrok, he’s also a youtuber, same energy, goofy, and ur taste in music. 😅 much love and appreciation. Thank you, Gob bless ❤
Next time, hope you meet people who can tell you how to pronounce the name of the state and the city correctly. It's pretty easy- all English vowel sounds. 😊
