I Think a Big part of Jack's soul died in that nightclub Tragedy and he took that with him for the rest of his Life. God Rest the Souls of that nightclub fire and RIP To Jack Russell, and Thank you for all of the Great Music🙏🙏🙏

Great White was an awesome band with Jack Russell.

Saw these guys open for whitesnake in Baltimore, MD at the arena! Still love this band today! Even have many great white cassettes! As well as cassette! Jack had a great voice! Also saw them at hammer jacks in Baltimore, MD back in the day! I live in Pennsylvania!! He will be missed 😢! I will keep playing great white for ever!! I am 62 years old!!

I met the members of great white when they played at wacky waters in Davenport Iowa. I was working at the local holiday inn they were staying at.

Great White used to play at my high school in Cerritos,Ca. back in 1981-82 & also played at our prom in 1982 & then when they got signed in 1984, they did an instore appearance at our family owned record store about 2 miles away from the high school. This was very sad to hear 😢 Its really sad as we get older all of these musicians & just people that we kinda looked up to passing away. Life is too short, so enjoy every moment. R.I.P. Mr. Russell 🙏 🤘

I’ll never forget the scenes from that night club. It was horrific. People just stacked on each other screaming and being burnt alive. I’ll never forget that either. Rest in peace Jack.

I'm 56 and the summer of 1987 was the best in high school. I was playing in my first band, the music was great, girls wore mini skirts, a case of Budweiser was $10 out the door, you had to have a hookup to buy weed and cruising in my 72' Chevelle with a full cooler was unforgettable....well a few forgettable nights! One Friday night before band practice my drummer and I stopped by my parents while he waited in the car. I came back and he said "Dude! You just missed a great new tune by Great White." We had practice and after the band cruised with the radio on and Rock Me came on. Other than the drummer we all heard it for the first time and partied all night long!

Twice Shy will always be their black album, it really put them on top but the timing was just iffy, by the time they could put out Hooked I think, alt rock had taken over for the most part, not that I'm faulting alt rock bands, its the mainstream, they don't stay loyal to anything, except Taylor Swift for some reason. She's been in the top ten since her debut album in 2009... they just don't get sick of her or move on. Anywho, RIP Jack... with any luck there are hotties in the afterlife to sing rock songs to...
