I think what a lot of these people, yourself included is that to say something like that is you're forgetting that you're not a minority. American Me is more impactful to me probably because of nostalgia, due to seeing it long before I saw “Blood In, Blood Out.” One certainty is that JD’s character was way superior than Miklo’s. I don’t know if that was script purposes, or because William Forsythe is straight up a boss. LoL.

Like I said, it’s probably just bias mainly due to nostalgia. Do you have a specific example as to why “American Me” is inferior to “Blood In, Blood Out”? A lot of people say it’s because it’s too sentimental at times, and there’s cringe moments. Do you agree with that? (But I’ll argue that you could say the same about “BI, BO” in that regard as well.)
@@kennybeans6115 well I heard "B.I.B.O" was superior than American Me. American Me had a lot of flaws and criticisms that got people killed who were involved in the movie. And tbh watching it now recently it doesn't really hold up. But certain scenes and performances were good.
