People don't realize that Messi is one of the TOUGHEST players ever to play the game. He has been pulled, kicked, tackled (like American football), pushed, shoved and crowded and even punched, and yet he emerges without crying or flopping -- just playing sublimely.
I'm not a very big futbol fan but I remember watching the world cup and it really seemed like everyone was throwing themselves on the floor for nothing just to see if they could go to penals or take someone from the other team out. it was embarrasing really.
