American Millennials First Time Listening to Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈) | Reaction and Review

SKZ are not afraid to use their music to bring real life issues to light and to use their voices to try to help those who go through them know they are not alone. Thank you for reacting & Hope you react to more of their music!

I'm lmao watching you clutch your pearls every time Seungmin appears. 😂 I suspect you might appreciate "Red Lights." I mean, I hope you'll appreciate every one of their more than 120 songs, because they're all gold. But "Red Lights" is its own special niche. And if you're interested in a nip slip (or abs slip), I suggest basically all of Bang Chan 2021 since the "Wolfgang" performance in Kingdom. Boy donated most of his shirt budget to the other members this year, good leader that he is. I _seriously_ appreciated this particular reaction (and I have no life, so I've seen roughly 4 billion). There are certain reactors I feel more comfortable with than others, for reasons, and you're definitely in that "comfortable, not gonna skeeve" group. So thank you, and I very much hope you keep going.

As for Secret Secret, it's one written by Han. More to the point, it's a classic Han Song. Many of the SKZ members are refreshingly open about their mental health. Chan repeatedly mentions his sleep problems and even wrote "Insomnia." Part of the reason he runs Chan's Room every week is to comfort and support both himself and others. During a period most of us hated for him, he wasn't afraid to mention his depression and suicidal ideation in his music. As recently as a few weeks ago, he told us about issues he's having. Chan and Hyunjin's "Red Lights" is definitely a surface-level hoe song, but the actual lyrics and their personal meaning behind the song was the sometimes toxic, obsessive relationship they have with their work (the Korean title is basically "Compulsion" or "Obsession"). Hyunjin has recurring bouts of anxiety and self-esteem issues. Han has depressive cycles and ongoing anxiety, including social anxiety that's at times gotten so severe he's been unable to participate in SKZ activities (one performance he forced himself to do during a particular period remains iconic and especially emotional for us to watch because we know how much it took out of him, and yet it was gorgeous; there's even footage of a couple times he forced himself to try to participate in activities, and they're painful to see even for people who can't relate firsthand, let alone for those of us who can). Anyway, just that short clip of your reaction at the end tells me I'm going to very much want to see your Secret Secret reaction, and I'll save the rest of my overshare for that. But ftr, if mental-health stuff is your thing, strap in for SKZ, especially the non title tracks.

No, It's not the same connotation. The title 'Back Door' refers to the act of sneaking into a forbidden place. Only VIPs and special pass holders are privy to the fun that takes place in this space. The band are suggesting that the party is open to fans and casual listeners alike. This is meant metaphorically.

If you're confused by the "Back Door" lyrics, you should definitely react to the "Drive" by them.................

So Stray kids writes and produces their own music with the sub unit 3racha. One of the members Han Jisung is the one who wrote Secret Secret back in 2019. It is one of my favorite songs he is very open with his mental health and it is a beautiful song. I can’t wait to see your reaction to that :)

I have no idea what nip slip you thought you saw but skz all have on undershirts in Backdoor, they are skin colored XD. In "Thunderous" though THAT THAT IS A different story completely. The one you thought was really cute is Seungmin :D and yes Felix is the one with the deep voice

You already got some great suggestions for content. Their main comeback videos like Thunderous, Gods Menu, Backdoor etc are all phenomenal as you’ve seen. However I live for their Japanese releases like Scars, All In, TOP and Slump. Their subunits are great. My second favourite SKZ song is Red Lights by Bang Chan and Hyunjin (Hellevator being my favourite and All In being my third favourite). Also their SKZ players and records on their RU-vid channel are worth watching 100%. Their pre debut is Hellevator, their debut is District 9.

Stray Kids were the ones that got me back into KPop (And ATEEZ made me stay). I just love how they have their own style and write and produce their own music. also, you can take your time working on your videos! it should be fun for you to do, so I don't mind if uploads take a bit longer ☺️

For future reactions, specially if you wanna see some live stages, can you react some Kingdom Performances? Its a competition show and Ateez were there too. Stages are amazing believe me you'll like it. Also, in case if you wanna know another group, there is a group called VIXX. They sounds completely different from Stray Kids and Ateez and other kpop groups actually. Also they known as concept kings due to their unique, detailed and mostly quite dark concepts. So, it would be interesting to watch your reactions to them. If you wanna check, Fantasy mv, Error mv ( my personal fav.), Shangri La mv ( one of their most known concept), Chained Up mv ( the most viewed one) would be a good start. But if you are brawe enough, you can start with Voodoo Doll mv which is probably the legend among kpop Halloween mvs. If you wanna start with this, there is two official mv for voodoo doll. Also, Stray Kids, Ateez and Btob had a collab stage during a program called "Kingdom legendary war" and it's basically a rap performance (only the rappers are there); they talk about how being different is fine (expressing that with colors), if you have time, you should definitely check it out :) (There's also a vocal and a dance performance collab if you're interested)

I couldn't stop laughing at your back door innuendos, thanks 😂 I saw that you were recommended Red Lights a lot, and I'm with all these recommenders too but the best part about Red Lights, apart from sexy music and visuals, is its deep meaning because in that song they talk about not so healthy relations with work and overworking. the lyrics may seem sexual and remind some of relationship problems, but in true it's more about the perfectionists and their struggles though it may take two-three+ viewings to really get it

I think you will be in awe at all of stray kids music videos. They are amazing and is the music. They have so much to view it may take you awhile to get to them all. Stray Kids release music even if its not on an album since they compose, write and produce their own music. Great line up for your next video! I would argue that Thunderous and Domino would be the two to do reactions on for their current works. Although Domino's MV is only a teaser. Still 100% recommend watching the dolled up teaser MV. Han is looking so good in it. couldn't recommend enough.
