Ideal time of life, the pay of today (make more money than u would back then), the gas prices of the 50s, the car styles of the 50s-60s-70s, the car prices of the same time period, and the car technology of today (basic stuff like cameras and CarPlay/navigation at least, not full bore safety stuff, doesn’t fit with the cars and how they were meant to be driven) and not to forget big beastly v8s (both new and old like chevys new 572 big block or the hellcat hemi and or the hellephant 426)

Classy S-Chassis r u kidding? Not even homie, the cars back than were better looking, and easier to work on. When carburetors were removed and fuel injection came in ruined the muscle cars. Plus back than they were more American made than today's. I'll take anything no matter if it's a Ford, GM, and Mopar because their a true V8 power. That's my opinion

Classy S-Chassis jdm’s can’t keep up with muscle, sure than turn corners a hell of a lot better. (Well actually the gt500 and zl1 are track cars now :) ) of course a heavily modified Jdm could beat a muscle car but Chief, when it comes to those supercharged V8’s. Good luck

They looked cool for sure, but with CNC,Robotics at the factoryMicroprocessor controlled everything from fuel injection etc. Plus we were working with 1000th of an inch tolerances back in the good days where as now 10000 of an inch tolerances. Thing that really makes a difference is there are no Friday or Monday morning cars limping off the line ( sorry UAW) where you might wonder what the hell that rattle in the door is and its a beer bottle. Ol days , not always good ok days.. Lol.. Today's cars are tight at 100000 miles where they most likely were bout to get scrapped back then...
