Do people in the US still think that their vote actually counts when it's apparent that the US regime is a one that persistently and consistently rigs elections in other countries? Do the people in the USA think that a power structure that rigs elections in other countries does not do so in its own country where who holds power is so much more important? I think the results of the upcoming elections will largely depend on which faction of the actual power structure (the private sector) can out-rig the other to put their puppet of choice into office. The people are just being fooled into believing that they actually matter.
There's obviously a deep state calling the big shots. That's what it all comes down to. People do anything for power, including the implementation of deceptive democracy. As if Biden or Trump would make a big difference for Gazza. They literally had a debate on who loves Israel more.
In defense the some of the Shafis allow calculations. Since it gives the same certainty down to the last second and we usually take This fatwa. since then we can’t take a day off for Eid. And since everyone is following that opinion why would we do it on a different day. It wouldn’t make sense?
But many would say charity is a social policy, therefore left-leaning. Islam is neither is to the right nor to the left, but a middle path. Most politicians, Donald Trump especially, are only on their own path.
@gafulmer428 Equality and charity are right wing, but equity and heavy taxation are left wing. It is all about either towards totalitarianism with fascism, communism, corporatism, Socialism, and republics (just left of democracy) or closer to anarchy.
Right on the issue in general, but wrong on the moonsighting issue btw. It is incorrect to say that scholarly opinion is on the side of actual sighting. One TYPE of scholar is generally in favour of moonsighting but this is by no means universal amongst scholars. The Fiqh Council of North America is not a trivial institution. It is in fact the leading scholarly institution in North America. And the European Council of Fatwa and Research is also the most important fatwa council in Europe.
With due respect, that “type” of scholar are the scholars who are grounded in tradition. The Fiqh council of North America is not run by traditional Ulema to say the least. The chair person is Yasir Qadi… that says enough lol.
If you keep doing two sides (both which are imperialist and genociders) you'll always accept that. Vote for another party (likely green with stein and Dr Bilal Ware, whilst also informing yourself politically and organising (even with Stein and Ware, no vote will ever be revolutionary. As ware even put it himself he's doing it to organise large groups of people. The vote itself isn't the end point, more so the start)
@mz4987 Im also Black and have to look out for my family here in Amerikkka first...then other peoples ...also The Congo and Sudan...they have a genocide that is just important
