They would be part of Japan, wouldn't be the Philippines. Over 20,000 Americans died with billions spent to remove the Japanese and give the Philippines back. Imagine being Japanese.

@@ubelove4410 All in the name of freedom that was stolen from us by the Americans, or so what our patriots would say, they drove out the Spanish only to be put under American rule and I believe they found it very frustrating because we nearly had our independence only if America didn't intervene.
