I preferred American Pickers (both) now its no longer the same and have quit watching. Don't even watch the reruns anymore knowing now how bad it ended.

Obviously Mike no longer wanted to make time for Frank. The longer the absence the harder to make amends. Not even enough time for a 2 minute phone call to see how your buddy is doing? Really?! Mike just wanted Frank out. Bottom line.
I haven't watched the show since Frank has been gone. Mike has grown egotistical over the years. Mike should have called his friend to see how Frank was doing after his back surgery and his alcohol recovery. It takes a egotistical mind to throw away a 40 year friendship.

Good vid, informative without bias/picking sides. Mike is obviously the front man of the duo, he created a great show. Frank was an integral part of the show's success as well. At the end of the day if Frank never comes back to the show, he had a great run and is set for life as a result of its success. There are always 2 sides to every story and the truth. I hope these two old friends can work out their differences. If the show dumped him because he had a drinking/substance abuse problem that he was treated for, that doesn't sit well with fans, especially in this day and age.
This is all a lie and extremely bias. They left out the fact mike left his wife and quit talking to his other friends including frank. He sold out and is nothing but a sell out now. Frank is no better with the bs he’s pulled but mike is not a rose.

My parents turned this show down! They didn’t agree with how the so called “picking” goes. Basically they send a team to do the picking, prices and money is taken care of...THEN they come and do the filming like they were just driving by and saw tour place. That, and my mom can’t stand Frank. Lol
Yes I read that the haggling is done before the cameras roll and some items are actually brought by the producers so it looks like a great item was found. There’s staging in all reality TV.

I don't like how they did Frank, so I won't be watching it. Some friend Mike, never called to see how Frank was after having surgery ??? The show is no good without Frank. They say Mike's brother is a total bore. Not wasting my time to find out. Then, he admits to having problems with alcohol, and again, crickets? Where is the friendship from childhood that helped you even have a show? Yep, got them checks, suddenly, too good for your wife and trade her in for a new model and diss your lifelong friend. Tons of character there, NOT. Bunch of TRAITORS!
If you are friends with someone for almost your entire life, you cannot just stop communication with that person. You can take a few minutes and ask how the other person is doing. If my best friend knew I was dealing with health problems didn't check on me, I would question our friendship. She could call and say "hello and how are you doing". I respond and that's it. It doesn't take that long to make a phone call.

the show just is not the same without Frank, danielle tends to be overly nice to people, seems like shes being phont and robbie is just not frank. mike could just pick up the phone and call frank, just say hello and see where it goes from there...robbie and danielle are just not going to cut it, they cannot replace frank

There is no excuse for Mike not contacting wolf for the whole time that he was sick with his back injury doesn’t matter how much he has on his plate you can always find time to make a phone call don’t give them any excuses

If you watch old episodes, Mike makes fun of Frank all the time. He calls him short, little, stupid. And then Danielle chimes in, and Danielle calls him fat. And Mike dumped his wife and daughter to marry a women from Nashville. Mike doesn't even visit his daughter any more.
I don't think this show is going to succeed without Frank. He is just too important to the show. Mike doesn't have the same chemistry with his brother.
Of course FRANK! ... Frank always picked negotiating right and paying the correct value ... where Mike always over pays and made all the antiques become over priced.

Its Clear Danielle is going to suck up to Mike she knows that's where the shows power lies...Every picture every vid ect you see her snugged up to Wolfe Bottle line frank came on Hard times, Mike and rest of the cast had ideas about Their ambitions and desires for their family members to move into the show and Frank was pushed out, Full stop.
I am surprised that they haven't been having something else apart from a show together (Mike & Danielle) if you get what I mean, I know that they are or were both married, Mike is getting divorced now, rumours going round is he is dating a model, but I wouldn't be surprised if we had heard that they both had jumped between the sheets together. Reading most comments here are about how Frank has been forsaken by longtime friend. Imagine, for 2 years he didn't even call to ask how Frank was doing. How does that show him to be? Frankly, initially, I used to like watching American Pickers. Like the way the 2 friends travelled far and wide, joking and supportive of each other. Now, looks like, Mike doesn't care about how Frank is. He is arrogant. Then, after the divorce with his wife, in short period of time, he already found a girlfriend. His child must have been devastated. Like most former fans, not going to watch this show anymore. Don't like watching an uncaring, arrogant man. Goodbye. 🤨

If it's true that Mike really didn't call and check up on Frank in all that time then either Frank did something really bad against Mike and Mike is keeping it to himself which is admirable in a way OR Mike has no real loyalty to a very long term friend.
Well it's too bad that this is happened in my opinion but Mike always had a bit of an attitude it seemed like and spent way too much money on something it seemed like he was always trying to buy his way in on the 1st pick and then his attitude changed. Frank was incredible with numbers he was like a calculator it seemed to me that the man was no dummy...... I will miss the show !
We all don't know the full details because the other two i.e Mike and Danielle won't reveal them. However, I do know what it's like to know someone with a bad drinking problem and they were never fun to be around. It's good to hear he's in rehab so maybe that had something to do with it. Just saying.

Frank made the show, I like him SO much better than Mike. They should shut down American Pickers now as I won't watch anymore. Frank should get his own show.
I just came here because American pickers contacted and filmed me, yet it was just Robbie and a guy named Dave with their crew which I thought everyone was super cool.

I like both of these guys, love listening to them talk about their passions. The only thing I don't like about Frank's complaint is that a bad back doesn't stop your phone from working, he's pissed at Mike for not calling to check in for 2 years, but apparently he didn't call Mike either. It takes 2 to tango.

Just "back surgery"? Right... Frank admitted to checking into rehab in '20 and wasn't sober until '21. It's obvious his addiction was the main issue and had probably been a nuisance until it reached a head. Frank isn't doing himself any favors by refusing to take responsibility and instead trying to play the victim and turn fans against Mike.
I was watching but I couldn’t really pay attention without Frank Fritz…My exhusband was insanely jealous of me dripping & drooling over him - hahaha! Frank showed me I deserved better 👍🏽
Mike seemed selfish and cocky. He always gave off the vibe that he was up to no good. Frank seemed like a follower who trusted Mike foolishly while still taking advantageous aim at vulnerable and unsuspecting people.
First and foremost, this was a buddy show. With that blown up, I no longer watch it. Never cared much for Mike, but the ostensible friendship made up for it. Mike - Booting Frank was the beginning of the end for you, too. Too bad.
I was under the impression that Frank is struggling with his health and can no longer travel the way he used to, to go picking. He now just stays in his hometown working on motorcycles.

Frank was a tight arse, who never had the time of day, for anyone else. He would bring the show down, and offer low prices for most customers, which would make it harder for Mike to get any deals done. His rudeness ruined the game, and you could see Mike get upset many times, and he would have to bite his tongue. Good riddance to bad vibes. He really hated it, when Mike gave away items to charitys or museums, you could see it in his face. Money was his roller,and no one likes that. He would still be selling fire stuff, without Mike offering the chance he took. How Mike put up with him for so long, shows who had the patience, he had. Good luck to Mike in what ever he does, he deserves it.Love from Australia and New Zealand.
Frank and Mike were best friends,like brothers.And while Franck was done with surgery Mike did not call him for 2 years,meaning till today.No need to find out what happened. It was a personal problem between the two and a very bad one. Mike brought him to tv and he just could not work with him anymore.Too bad for the show. I don’t watch it anymore.
I really pray for Frank,alcoholism is a family disease,like a tornado it destroys everthing in its path.Money and fame can change a person,not for the good.I guess it's hard to stay humble with you make a fortune.The show isn't the same without Frank!I wish Frank the best staying sober,one day at a time.There is so much more to life than money,you find that out as you get older and have health issues.My mom always said,"you are lucky in life to have one true friend."
Frank Fritz has suffered a stroke and is in the hospital. I sincerely hope he will get well. I know he has had some other medical issues which, it has been said, is the reason he is no longer appearing on the show.
