Though i have been into dogs for over 20 years. I still learn from ur videos. Alot of what u say may be hard for some to hear but its the truth. Real dogmen respect what u are doing for the breed.
The ones you see around a lot are those plastic leashes with the thin cords that slide in and out of a plastic disk container. They love to let their mastiffs pull them around town with the only thing between a secure leash and a cord chasing their big dogs down the street is a thin piece of plastic inside the retracting case. I actually had a lady scold me for using an appropriate leash for my former Pitbull Scrappy. She was angry because she thought it looked to intimidating and recommended me to buy one of those plastic retracting leashes. I just smiled and thanked her for the advice. As I reflect back on that conversation she actually tried to tell me that having the thick leather leash and collar that I had would cause my dog to be more dominate, rofl. I thought at one point, "lady, you should be thankful that I have this level of control over my dog or that Standard Poodle you are prancing around would be nothing more than a blow up doll plaything for my dog."
Thankful that a real dog man said that... you just explained 99percent of dog bites for the world to hear, if they’ll listen!!!! As well as kennel life...dogs have their own mind... and owners have to be responsible!!
I always say awareness is key to survival. Mental preperation and running mental drills and situations in your mind will assist you if a real situation were to arise.is important when owning anything out of the ordinary that is extraordinary. Can you raise a male American Pit Bull Terrier puppy around a female(half American Pitbull Terrier and border collie 6 years old)? I want to get a high-quality American Pitbull, but I do not want to come home and find my pet dog killed.
socratesXLIX nobody can honestly advise you to do that. Raise unde the smart and common sense eye yes. Yet raise together in the same kennel and playing I advise don’t do it.

For that reason and no other I despise them. People on one side are generally criminals, the others are ridiculous and tedious. I’ve heard of several cases where they turn on children and their own masters or neighbors, even the innocent public. People I know, so don’t try to tell me that doesn’thappen routinely.
