LV Smiles tricks me into trying a disgusting (to me) but popular street food in the Philippines, balut! We'll start the day with my first Jeepney ride on our way to the Litex Market. We'll check out the shops and try some coconut candy. Later in Makati we shop the wet market for fruit and street food near LV's house where she buys the balut. Things go downhill from there.
Balut is a fertilized developing egg embryo that is boiled and eaten from the shell. It is commonly sold as street food.
