The video was inspired by the classic Senegalese movie Touki Bouki about 2 people committing crimes on a motorcycle to earn money to escape to France. The final shoot of her hold a machete to the throat of a cop while they point guns at the man came from the movie Cristo Rey. It was shot in Lagos

I'm so happy you're reacting to this, I absolutely love everything about it. The bars, different vibe, collab and the video are all 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. It was shot in Lagos, paying homage to her Nigerian culture and was the first time Simz had returned home since being a little girl. Her mother is in the vid too, she was the lady throwing the money 6:23. Thank you for doing this, it's made my day 😁.

I missed this when you first posted it AND I EVEN RECOMMENDED This! I am so embarrassed! Great reaction! Obongjayar uses the same weightlifters in one of his videos, and uses various costume pieces and props in other videos of his. I’ll see if I can find the weight-lifter one. THANK YOU!!!

I think the idea for the video was bassed on a cult Nigerian film which was a bit like the harder they come or boney and clide syms has the best flow of any uk artist also verey arty so if she makes money she makes something 4 people may she ride 4 ever
