This is part of a SUGA/Agust D trilogy. It starts with the song/mv Daechwita, then Haegeum, and last Amygdala. You will notice that he plays both the antagonist and protagonist in the first two mv's. It's basically SUGA battling his internal personas/turmoil/frustration. The last song, Amygdala, is his real life story, and it explains the scar on his face. Enjoy 💜

The live version with all the members was for fun and should be taken as a joke. They meant it to be lighthearted. This is the only time it was performed as a group. This is an Agust D solo track.
I think you found a spoof performance of Daechwita, all the members performing the song, but this is Suga's solo work. They are just having fun. And the concert was one they put on during covid and people could pay to watch online, they haf 1.33M paid viewers.
Daechwita: traditional Korean march, played for kings, army movements, etc. The two characters: Suga Rei (tyrant who kills opponents and dissidents) and poor Suga. At the fair, poor Suga shows up with six friends (representing BTS). In the tent, a woman (representing the Army) gives him the key to start the revolution. He and his 6 friends in King Suga's lands arrive without fear. Here we see the drawing of Bang Si-hyuk, ‘creator of BTS’. King Suga despises him and sentences him to death. Even tied up, on his knees, he continues singing Daechwita. (Is poor Suga the real king?). The other condemned men join the revolt, singing Daechwita. Finally, the executioner who was supposed to kill poor Suga also joins the revolt and frees him and gives him a weapon, with which he kills the tyrant king. Metaphor: the lower class 'bringing down the system', mentions BTS who started as a small and discriminated group, from a small bankrupt company, who were despised and disdained, but who ended up becoming the biggest Korean group in kpop, true kings of The game. In the time of dynasties, the poor would never be part of the elite. Today the BTS that started small is the elite. The achievement was difficult, with a lot of ‘blood, sweat and tears’. They “overthrew” the dominant system of the Korean music industry, as they continue to do until now, overturning the arrogance and prejudice of the global music industry. They did it like this as a suprise for ARMY who were watching live on line and those monitors were there showing ARMY's cheering etc for them so BTS could interact like they would at a Normal BTS concert. It was a done as fun way to do it Suga(aka Agust D) had the members do it so the 4 vocalist all got a chance to flex their Rapping skills. They do that some time for fun just for ARMY.
BTS is endlessly indulging of each other. The other 6 members were obsessed and likely begged to perform a full 7 version and Suga has infamously rarely/never said no to his members happily made it a full band song. It’s awesome. He performed it solo and the crowd absolutely screamed the house down in his solo tour.
Love the reactions. If you want to see some rap line songs here is a few suggestions: Outro Tear, Cyphers 1 -4 ( they get better with each one). RM I would also suggest Do You, Joke (just shows off his skills), and Persona. Suga(AgustD): The Last, Never mind, First Love, and Snooze. JHope: Day Dream, What If, Boy Meets Evil, and Mama. The rap line from BTS are the ones who actually made me appreciate rap, something that I never thought I would like.
The group version was tongue in cheek, though they still killed it😂 I could tell you got it. They are all so talented. I'm sure you've heard it tons already, but I recommend "Tear" by the rapline. Maybe a lyric video, then a live stage. Context is that it was written for each other during a time when they considered breaking up as a group, but could also be interpreted for any kind of relationship
The live was a parody during the pandemic, for ARMY to laugh - hence the exaggerated costumes. Look for AgustD (pronounced like the month August) Live in concert, where he performs solo. The concert name is DDay. He beasts it
This is part of a trilogy so I highly recommend you to see Haegeum and Amygdala. Daechwita have a lot of Corean culture that you can easily lose the meaning of, so there is a video in which this video is very detailed explained that you may like to see juts to understand a few things here. Please check out more of rap lines songs, BTS has great songs in general but rapline's songs hold a special place, like someone said, check out Ddaeng and all of the cyphers. If youre looking for a good breakfown explained by a Korean, check out DKDK TV's breakdown, ddaeng was a bop before, but once you get the breakdown and realize the talebt behind the lyrics, it just becomes even better. The W is silent. Just copy the way they say it and ignore the spelling: Just like "tough" is pronounced 'tuff' and not 'tow-gu-huh'. Daechwita is 'Deh-chi-TA', not dech-WEE- ta. It gets easier! Korean is very not like our language and everyone struggles at first
Not the performance with the group that’s the worst, it’s just a joke , react the one on their channel bang tan TV with like band or the on of his concert. Those are the good ones that do justice the song.

I've made that comparison to New Edition before as well, some people didn't want to hear it. But truly New Edition, Wu Tang Clan and BTS, those are few groups where members could make it big as individual artists as well. You saw J-Hope' s Chicken Noodle Soup MV, well BTS also have a group performance of that too. You may notice the "OT7" in the title of the vid, it's a term used for when we speak of all 7 members, it means "one true seven". You may see ARMYs talk about their "bias", that means favorite member of the group, but some of us are OT7, meaning we favor all members of the group. As you listen to more and more of them I'm sure you'll understand why some of us are OT7.
This was a fan meeting called Muster that BTS does every year around the time of their debut anniversary. They chat with army, do skits, and do old and new performances both for fun and for serious. Since there are restrictions due to the pandemic, this all only online. This performance was for fun where Suga has different BTS members do different parts in his hard hitting song lol. Remember, there are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists, but not all vocalists are serious rappers and not all rappers are vocalists.
