This song, Baepsae, and Spine Breaker I think are some of their best when it comes to social economic issues in the country. They shine a light on an issue which people don't like to talk about, or try to ignore. Love them for telling the #Truth. Its a fun song, but it's a serious subject. On a lighter note...they've been looking for that party for years...I dunno if they've ever found it. ha ha ha. WB Lamar!!! We missed you! :D
One of my favourite BTS tracks. Amazing upbeat fun vibe but full of hidden social commentary. They talk about young people being very materialistic in Korea but also could be taken as, they get paid so little that it would take 100 years to save for something like a house, so you may as well enjoy your money now. BTS albums are stuffed with hits and so many different vibes. They really are magic.💜
There's a Go Go live performance at an awards show where they were dressed whatnlooks like a sleepwear with robes and acting as if the stage was their playground. Two members were acting as human fighther and two were like acting as if they were controlling the game...it was funny. There is also a halloween dance practice version of Go Go.
BTS is talking about today's youth and how they feel there is no tomorrow so the spend their money instead of trying to save it. This song is how BTS tells a message that's deep with a fun catchy tune and trendy dance. I'm over 50 and I've done it where I paycheck out the month I spend it on my family vrs bills even though I know I needed to save,

They’re saying that the pay, even those who are lucky enough to have a job, is so little that you might as well just spend it all, since it’s not enough to save. It’s been so bad for quite awhile now that even the birth rate in korea is just about the lowest, since most can’t afford having babies. Also many companies insist on working even on weekends, with no extra pay, or one will lose their job, so there is the YOLO (you only live once) attitude, now, since many have even given up trying to look ahead, BTS is sarcastically throwing this attitude back at ones who’ve given up, as well as addressing the situation now.

i love how they have very distinct personalities that they use on stage as well as back stage. they are real when they person it´s not just a show you know. they also talk about heavy stuff in spine breaker. i can´t rememeber if you watched it. it´s more directed at korean culture an there is a explanation video for it. but the topic they adress is something is guilty of or has been when they where young. it´s so cool that they adress this when they are still young. they know it´s wrong and is trying to make young people realize it.

ahhh it was so bittersweet when they did it! the song is so good and impossible not to get hyped up, dance and cheer for but they had that concert ARMY-less thanks to covid pfffffffffftttt they only had staff in there. If you really want to laugh look at the Halloween version starring a Famous Disney Princess. 😂🤣 I think you would also like Spine Breaker Live which also has a catchy beat, but deep meaning. They don't have a MV to Spine Breaker, but they do have a video where the BTS members had to choreograph the dance and direct the video.

Yet another example of what seems like a playful banger with actually deep and fearless social and political messaging. This song is not about them having money. It’s an anthem for their generation about everyone being broke and not having hope for a future where they aren’t living paycheck to paycheck, with their bank account being a jar with no bottom so that everything runs out of it and it’s always empty. The song is saying we spend to have fun now (yolo) because we have to have some small joys in life since our future is already mortgaged away and there is no point in saving for goals we will never be able to reach (like home ownership.) It’s also mocking the way the older generations see and talk about younger generations as frivolous when they are just trying to survive and have some small joys in life. So it includes slang and dances popular at the time and has a playful attitude covering a deep generational despair. They have multiple other similarly upbeat songs that touch on these same topics, like Baepsae and Dope. You’re really missing half their artistry by not doing yourselves the favor of looking into explanation videos and better translations.
