She is a hit maker. She’s done 3 albums that have all been pretty successful especially last two blew her up into mainstream. She produces her own music a lot of times live on ig too, she can actually sing, raps and dances. Amazing performer. She’s really a whole package and a threat in the industry. I’m not sure why y’all are sayin it’s like rap bars, she’s mainly a rapper 😂😂😂

I love Doja. She’s not just talking about a man, she’s talking about the world, the entire internet. Replying to the same crowd that has been judging her for so long. They loved and lusted for her when she fit society’s preference now she’s her unapologetically

Best reaction I've seen! great points! Especially love the bit you raised about femininity. I feel Doja is that bitch who UNDERSTANDS and uses her femininity as a powerful thing and never masks it by emulating male 'strength' or abrasiveness. A lot of reactions say the hook and the song are disjointed, but I think this is simply Doja flexing the different facets of her femininity (as the seductive siren and the one who talks her shit) + being experimental and playful. I like to think the lines, "And we all wanna be the one to see the devastation Not be in it, but ain't the bad press good?" talks about hypocrisy. How people love watching others' devastation, but when the script is flipped its a different tune.

I like that you really enjoyed her as an artist on this excellent track (please do check out her other songs, too). She can rap and sing and this is a great new direction for her. The visual also really expresses what she is trying to show people - that this is a real change in direction for her. It was great to see two men not just stop the track to say how hot she looks, but to discuss her talent and lyrical flow. In the past, she has been self deprecating (she said depricate, not deficate) and now is showing more freedom & strength - you were both spot on! I remember when a lot of male rappers put hot female singers on their tracks, especially in the 90's - now, I see so many strong female rappers (including Doja) collaborating with talented male rappers & I am here for it! I've been listening to rap since 1977 and it's great to see both male and female rappers creating great music. New sub, Thank you both!

Great reaction. About the music and intent. She has artistry for sure

I don't know if this is the best place to start with Doja. This song is meant to be a statement piece. It doesn't really represent her as an artist. The chorus is purposely sung in a mocking tone because she's mocking internet stan culture. She's a much better singer that what she presents here. Doja is one of the best rappers on the scene, and she's by far the most versatile mainstream rap artist around right now. She's the total package. She writes, produces, sings, raps, and dances. She's also absolutely stunning.
