Story is that during a break from filming this they were eating lunch at a sandwich truck and the African actor told them, "This is not my sandwich." Catherine Tate overheard it and adlibbed it in at the end to catch him off guard and that's why he looked like he was about to laugh at the end.
It's SO GOOD TOI LAUGH TOGETHER! The back story is that the Swedish lady, the Asian woman and the African man were the ones who had the hardest time not to laugh! They said there were MANY takes between filming!!!
My Nigerian uncle in law watched this and laughed his arse off then he goes " this is not accurate, Nigerians would eat the sandwich and then ask where is my sandwich" 😂 im like no unc, thats just you. That man can eat 😂
I love this! The African bloke was trying so hard not to laugh because they were talking in the break room and sharing food and he didn't expect her to mention that. Apparently they had to do it several times because the very talented female Chinese Actor couldn't stop laughing when Catherine started making Kung Fu noises and the cut to her dissaproving face is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I love how smug she looks when she looks like she thinks she did a great job and her boss has his head in his hands like, Oh God what just happened here! So funny!
They probably all were laughing inside. How can anyone take Catherine Tate seriously. Shes a comic genius. Love her. Greetings from The Isle Of Wight. South Coast England
The thing with this clip is it’s actually pointing out people’s stereotypes of other people that’s why the 3 people who were of different ethnicities didn’t show which countries they’re from because and especially with the Asian lady you know who she’s supposedly translating to before even showing you her. They also had to do so many takes as the Chinese lady couldn’t stop laughing.
come on now im sure im not the only one thinking id love to see the outtakes/bloopers or what you want to call them to this scetch (and many others) yes i did notice he smiled 😆 😆
We live in a world where we can laugh at each other and with each other - or a woke world where we are afraid to be united in comedy. and laughter - I know which I prefer.
Hi, great to see you enjoying U.K. comedy again! I’m from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, just a few miles from Windsor Castle, my second home😀😀
That Swedish bit gets me lol, i was born in Stockholm Sweden hahahahaha... she doing the Swedish chef from the muppet show lmfao! That African guys was about to fuck up looool.... wonder how many takes it took... seein as he still nearly cracked up haha!
If you are from an English speaking country could you be less offended if anyone from a non English speaking country did this. Ner, of course we wouldn't be offended and nor would any other country. The media tells us what's offensive and we are supposed to go along with it. The bottom line is that it's just comedy. If someone gets offended it's their problem.
I'm tired of the expression "- these days you can't do that!" on the contrary - you can! the world hasn't changed, and if some people don't have a sense of humor, that's their problem! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
you can do it these days, it's called freedom, and where is the offense? thats what they sound like... Oh so it's ok to do english scots and american and no one else ohhh FO
It’s SO offensive but INCLUSIVE it’s fine for me ! If there had been a guy in a kilt there I’d have been delighted to have had the piss taken … it’s a sure sign you are accepted when you are included in piss taking .. Trans activists take note 👀 👍🏴
