I didn't move on properly to CBBC until I was 7 years old by which time I'd missed most of Raven and it ended soon after I started watching it. CITV was the 'cool' channel which I watched when I was about 10 but I never lost my love for CBBC, that is, until it all went to pot in 2015-2106. Ah well, the good memories will last forever.

I have a regular blue and a silver- can't remember how I got the regular but I got the silver by writing about my first trip to London and seeing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in the theatre! The Chuckle Brothers were from Rotherham, near Sheffield. It's quite distinct is the accent.....says a gent who only lives about 30 miles north of there!

They sure are! I remember when Barry passed away and his funeral at Rotherham Cathedral in the town centre was HUGE! I ended up having to work it as security, it was such a big deal in the area that people were literally trying to break in to the cathedral the night before to hide so they could attend.

Funnily enough, even though it's set in Rotheram, most of the episodes were filmed in Watford, where I grew up. I even saw them filming in the park behind my house one time.

Most of the shows discussed don't seem like 90s shows to me! Early 2000s maybe. Obviously long running ones like Blue Peter and the Chuckle Brothers have been around since before time began!

@@underwaterdick Yes they are. A couple of very old shows that have hung around. In The Night Garden is from 2007. Probably one of the craziest shows when you first watch it, but you learn to appreciate it with time :D. Unlike Peppa Pig which is mind-numbing dross. I have a 2 year old so currently experiencing the delights of childrens tv.

@@Pretency haha, my little one is nearly two so I know how the TV discovery feels. Thankfully managed to avoid the night garden so far. Peppa However has this strange effect on her where it holds her attention for the whole episode. Other programs struggle to do this, which is nice because it means she isn't hooked on TV and is quite happy for me to turn it off. When it goes on though, all I get is "Peppa?". She does like some 90s classics such as Pingu and Thomas which certainly takes me back.

Timothy Goes To School, Charlie and Lola, Deadtime Stories and Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids. They were my childhood. I loved CITV. Does anyone remember Jungle Run and Trapped? They were like the *Best* Shows! Also, Dengineers and Marrying Mom and Dad were good. Edit: I also just remembered Hetty Feather! That was like the only thing I'd watch for a time cause I loved the books. Edit 2: Just got reminded of Oggy and the Cockroaches! That was such a classic...
