Fun fact, primark is Irish and originally named Penneys. So in Ireland all the stores are named Penneys! But due to J.C Penneys having legal rights to their name in Europe, when Penneys expanded outside Ireland they had to rename to Primark!
Lol, this is the most accurate thing ever. I think it's partially a reflection of ego. Shane can't/won't allow a lot of boring, unnecessary filler to be edited out because he probably thinks every single moment is worth being seen by his fanbase (whoever that is anymore, I haven't a clue). Whereas Nick is not an egomaniac, and he actually cares about the content he creates and wants it to be edited in a way that keeps his viewers engaged and is fun to watch without dragging on. I also think it's partially about greed. Shane is probably still making good money from YT, but with the number of companies that refuse to sponsor him, and his dwindling views, I imagine he is struggling to maintain the lifestyle he is used to, so longer videos allow him to add more adbreaks.

I love seeing Americans visit the UK, feel like the Brits know a lot of American staple shops and restaurants but it doesn’t go the other way. I know what a Kroger is for some reason but a tourist I met didn’t know what M&S is 😅

I’ve been to London a couple times (one time I was denied entry, detained, and deported…long story) but I generally have a positive opinion of the UK. I especially loved being able to visit Scotland, wales, and Ireland. It’s just cool to be able to see extremely old historical sites like thousands of years old that are still being used or we can still visit.
Thanks for sharing a part of Scotland other than beautiful rolling hillside pastures I swear that’s all I ever see. My great great grandfather was from Scotland and I’m so interested in going someday.

There used to be an American version of Big N Tasty. I tried to order one a few years back (I hadn't eaten meat in years but was craving it) and they laughed in my face before asking when was the last time I had been there so I went back to not eating meat for a few years as I took that as a sign 😂😂

McDonald's in the UK changes the cheese things every few weeks. Sometimes it's halloumi fries or garlic cheese bites. I can't eat any of them and watch people while I cry 😂 Please tell me they peeled the stickers!!

I sort of had to choke down my teeth grinding envy over your trip in order to finally watch this, but that's a me problem! I was able to spend a week in England during college and it was so awesome, the architecture is beautiful and different than what I'm used to in the Midwest. I went to the National Gallery and the Degas museum because I'm an art nerd, but I was on my own and missed out on the night life because, y'know, woman 🤷🏻♀️. So it was really cool to see some of the clubs you went to! I'm glad you got to go and I'm glad you're home safe 😊

Historically mcdonalds monopoly did happen in America, I remember it from when i was younger. But it hasn’t run in a while so I just looked it up… apparently it’s due to a case of fraud and it hasn’t happened in america since then 😢
