They're from Sheffield in Yorkshire. It's north England, above Manchester. They're all old mates from school. They're easily one of the best British rock bands of the last 25 years.

To answer your question about the tattoo it is a representation of the Yorkshire Rose, as in the war of the Roses, white for the House of York and red for the House of Lancaster, which were combined to become the emblem of the Tudors kings and Queen Elizabeth the first.

I saw Arctic Monkeys live a few years ago, it was insane. The crowd on the floor were jumping around, so many people sing pulled out by security. Their music is just top tier.

The Strokes, Royal Blood and Wolf Alice next please. The Wombats, The Darkness and The Kooks are also worth a listen.

Probably my second favourite band after... Oasis. P.s 'Suck it and See' doesn't have the same meaning in the UK.

They're from up North, they formed in Sheffield, Yorkshire 2002. Alex Turner, the frontman is also in another band with the former band member of the band 'The Rascals' and solo artist Miles Kane (from Liverpool), together Miles Kane and Alex Turner make the supergroup 'The Last Shadow Puppets' which are also very good, you should give them a listen. I'm not sure what gigs and festivals are like in the U.S. but in the UK you can be certain to get piss and beer thrown over you and be covered in mud especially at festivals so deodorant is not a big deal although I'm sure they're all wearing it lol.

I really get it, how British bands are liked in America. I like them a lot. But do you know how much we in Europe also love The Great American Songbook and your wealth of fine singers. Also, the art of easy-going melodic 70s style performers shouldn't vanish. That is also needed today when digitized music prevails.

The twangy guitar I believe is a fender Stratocaster. I could be wrong. An elevation series guitar does have a slightly higher twang to it, though.

Would love to see you react to Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust (their most well known song and the music video got voted as the best Finnish music video ever back in 2006 when the song was released). Truly an underrated band from here in Finland. Also a band with many different sounds all the way from slow melodic songs to full on rock. Although if you want to immediately hear a song that showcases how crazy good the lead singer Marko Saaresto's voice can be (and while his vocal range might not be the most dynamic out there he is an amazing example of what you can achieve by having absolutely perfect control of your vocals especially the raw emotion that his voice is able to convey) then i recommend listening to their song Daze. His vocals on the chorus are something out of this world. I just think that so many more people would love their music if they just ever heard them but since their from Finland it rarely happens. Although many have heard their songs in Remedy's video games Max Payne 2, Alan Wake, Quantum Brake and Control (Also every single reactor i have seen reacting to them has been pretty much blown away by their music so i'm very confident you'll like it) also... also... lot's of deep and meaningful lyrics and wordplay in their songs sorry for the long rant i just really want more people to know about them :D

They’re from Sheffield, same place as Sean Bean. It’s my neck of the woods so their accent sounds natural to me although mine is different as I’m North of them by about 30 miles, accents and dialects change drastically even over short distances here.

Oasis and Blur was probably the 2 biggest Britpop Bands in the Mid 90s and they hated each other and famously released a single the same day to fight it out for the Number 1 spot. The media went Crazy. Oasis released Roll with it and Blur released Country House. I would love to see your reaction to The Blur v Oasis for Number 1. There are loads of RU-vid videos on it. Favour , If i were to choose a British All female Band i'd opt for " Girls Aloud " they had 21 UK hits of which 20 of them reached the UK Top 10 and the other reached no.11 , this is a record onlymatched by The Beatles . I'd suggest the song " No good advice " . Another UK Female band are " The sugababes " they had several hits too the song " Round Round " will get you rockin' lol . Even though The Spice Girls were all the hype back in the late 90s they are actually in 6th place when it comes to British Female bands . The most successful are Bananarama with 33 Hits , Little Mix 32 Hits , Girls Aloud 21 Hits and so on ... I hope this was helpful .
