I was playing Rugby Union & a friend came up to me & asked me to fill in for his Rugby League team as they were short of numbers, I fell in love with it after playing only 1 game & ended up playing League for 29yrs...I'd do it all over again if I could
The beauty of rugby league is if someone absolutely smashes you. You (and your teammates) have all(remaining) game to smash them back. So makes the game within the game highly entertaining.
If you can use the form in the description and shoot us that link. I know that we have done a few big hit videos but it might be a different. Send us that link that would be awesome!
Rugby is a sport with many differents style: XV rugby XIII rugby and VII rugby. You looks on this video XIII's rugby, different and less famous like rugby XV ! But some rules are different. XV or XIII and VII's rugby is the player's number on the field.
The biggest difference between NRL and rugby defence is that a lot of these hits were smaller backs taking on the bigger forwards. In rugby a lot of the backs have no idea how to tackle a big guy front on and get pushed off. Thats why some of the top rugby sides are now using rugby league tackling coaches as part of their coaching staff..
I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I would make the point that NRL players are generally very similar sizes across the entire team, whereas in rugby the tight 5 forwards and often all 8 of the pack are much much bigger than the backs
@@billyarmes Your typical forward in League is Sam Burgess/Jonah Lomu sized. The half back is usually very small (Faf De Klerk size), and most of the rest of the players are pretty much Mike Brown/James Lowe size. You don't have any Etzebeth or Furlong sized players running at you, but you do have more than half a dozen Tuilagi types, so on balance, there are less extreme units to deal with, but much more overall raw strength to deal with. If you can learn how to tackle someone like Lomu properly, then it has to help when trying to stop a huge prop or flanker.
The Clip at 8min was Luke Gale. Plays in th English Super League and is tougher than he should be as a Halfback. Dude was playing for Castleford in 2017. Had his appendix out during the week and still showed up at the weekend to play in a playoff semi final vs St Helens (that match is on RU-vid btw) My man scored a try and celebrated by lifting his shirt and showing off the bandaging.
