Naveed is the man! Erudite, sharp, a smooth-talker (especially when dealing with the young mother/junkie character) and he takes no shit from anyone. Well, apart from Meena - she rips the piss out of him with ruthless efficiency. Oh, and his dancing is a joy to behold!

bxkid7 normally it revolves around what football is on etc so once or twice a week. All the pubs here have been told to close now tho and everyone staying inside more or less, probably for a few months...

mate keep making more of these videos we (scottish people) LOVE it when people from different countries react to our shows. Winston, Jack and Victor are all my favourites, i simply cant choose between them, i have watched each episode of still game probably about 20 times each and no im not kidding lol. i know it word for word. Random fact: the pregnant lassie at the end is played by the same actress(Kate Dickie) who went on to be Lysa Arran in Game of Thrones (the mad noblewoman with the creepy son who Littlefinger throws through the moon door).

"He couldny get his hole in a barrel a fannies." has to be one of the best lines of the show. The Navid character was perfectly cast. Everybody growing up in the 90s/early 2000s knew a Navid. I went to school with a Scottish Pakistani boy (born here, but his parents were from Pakistan). His dad owned the local video rental shop, and his mother was so much like Meena, mainly spoke in Urdu I think it was, and the son was always translating :D I lost touch with him, but I imagine him being a modern Navid.

Another great video! Fun fact: The classroom scenes and exterior shots of this episode are all filmed at Glasgow University, and the student union scenes are filmed in the actual union bar there. Not much has changed round there since this episode was filmed so it's always nice to see!

Jack and Victor is the core friendship, but I've always thought Winston was the heart and soul of the show, the Everyman. The guy you'd love to be mates with :)

Made me happy to see this uploaded today. Sleekit essentially means sneaky btw and swottin' means studying, not sure if the word swotting is used in the US. The next episode you will do is widely regarded as one of the best of the series. Enjoy and stay safe 👍

these guys didn't do much swottin lol. in the us we have a different word where we replace the o with a and add a g at the end and its a totally different thing scary for some. looking forward to the next episode.

Someone allows comics to swear on air as we have a group of people within tv and cinema who give a certificate in cinema and govern tv then standards were set as to what is politically correct , some older tv sit coms are not shown anymore or have some words beeped out or changed. As nothing stands still I wonder what the future holds taking into account if we live in a democracy or dictatorship of course.

Most universities here have pubs on campus, I went to Edinburgh we had several on our campus. We'd go to a lecture, 10am, get a wee bit of breaky with a pint, go to our 11 lecture, hang out in the union, go to 4 oclock tutorial. Get hammered in the union. All we did was drink, I have no clue how I finished sometimes.

@@bxkid7 18 to purchase. Many kids start drinking alcohol in their very early teens. The earliest to drink legally is 16 in a restaurant if occumpanied by a parent when ordering a meal. This does not include bars-pubs though. There might be a similar restaurant rule in some states
