2:30: Ah yes. The traditional Scottish fried breakfast. Square sausage, link, bacon, potato scones, fried egg, black pudding and fried tomato. And sometimes beans and/or mushrooms. I love the way they eat it as its getting cooked, before even waiting till its been plated XD

This is one of my favourite episodes ever. The scene outside the community center has been quoted to hell and back in Scotland. Over and over. When this episode came out it was memed to hell and back before the days of the internet really taken off. We would wind teachers up in class by doing it. You look at any tweet by a Scottish politician and I can guarantee there will be a gif of that scene somewhere in the replies, or someone going “naw ye didne.” That scene captured so much of Scottish humour and culture in just a minute. The idea of pretending you care gets called out, the idea of boasting gets called out. The lies get called out. My mother used to tell me; ‘one of the great things about Scotland, is you will never be allowed to be too big for your own boots, you’ll get brought back down.’ The scene captures it in a really funny but utterly realistic way, you can genuinely see it happening here and I have. I was at a student protest where one of the MSPs were speaking, “naw ye don’t” and “naw ye didne” was yelled out more than once!

Love the way you get it..you know the way this outstanding comedy rolls..stay safe brother and continue your great work 😎

Finally my weekly fix

Still rewatching you should do a food reaction and cook yourself a full English breakfast with black pudding, I prefer Cumberland sausage, shrooms, Heinz beans, fried eggs, bacon but you'd call it candian bacon,plum tomatoes, fried bread and toast. I had my first English breakfast yesterday from a Cafe since lockdown takeout of course it was a taste sensation

One of my favourite episodes. Up there with rab c Nesbit episode holiday and domestic. Rab c domestic is hilarious. Jakey = noun. slang, dialect, derogatory Scottish. A homeless person or tramp, especially one who habitually drinks large quantities of cheap, strong alcohol.
