I love me home Sweden. I have no problem with the cold. But I live in Malmö and in the winters here, we don't always have as much snow as they do up in Norrland. But on the summer in Skåne is so beautiful we have everything here. You are so welcome I would move to Iceland. precisely for the politics, the nature, the language and the safety and that I feel so at home there.😊

I think a positive is the travel network, you absolutely do not need to drive here. Also a huge bonus is the proximity to Denmark, certainly in the south you can be in a completely different country in 30 mins, and then be home the same day. I'm originally from the UK but live in a small town in Sweden with a population of around 20,000 people. I know you have heard it a thousand times before too, but we don't need to worry about getting sick here, or the cost of medication, and I know this is common across Europe but we do constantly hear horror stories about the US system. Also our kids are not going to get shot in school.

Maybe it's a Stockholm thing but I've been all over Sweden and never really had bad service. Would I move, probably not, but I think other than Sweden maybe Spain would be our choice if we had to move.

All countries suck in some way. The trick is to find a place that sucks in ways that doesn't affect you.

The thing is Sweden has been in peace for the longest time off all countries in the world and then we took in toons of war-damaged imigrants, ofc its gona divide us we have nothing in common and they come from a culture that is 100 years back iin time from ours .. pirates from somalia and afghans they have a whole other wiew on things with priorites and morals . We are not that socially bad compared to the world i think is more off a tech era we live in and that applies to all countries .

Some tourists feel that they get bad service in sweden (in restaurants and such) but I think it's because of the fact that in Sweden - the customer is NOT always right.. and also servers don't have to rely on tips to make a living - so no need to suck up to annoying customers. ;) But then, some places have awesome service. We have better and worse places.
