The Highway Code also states: “You must not cycle on a pavement.” The offence of riding a bike on the pavement is punishable by an on-the-spot fine, a fixed penalty notice of £30.
All true, but i think the criminal damage charge would be more. The guy on the bike had an accident, the guy fixing his tyre threw the bike on purpose. Anger never solves a situation.
Parish councils are the smallest type of local authority possible in the UK. Usually made up of unpaid councillors. The US equivalent would probably be an HOA without little actual funding.
My fellow learned Scottish fellow, up on the roof, shouting "wank-stain" (bonus for his gesticulation), was explaining that he is unable to suddenly shift his weight magically from the slippy roof slates, without slipping and falling off said roof. I hope this has been of help!
That last clip with the guys on the pavement/sidewalk is a constant problem here in England. But usually it's the electric scooters. They just fly past us so close & it makes me think if I had turned or moved to that side at the wrong moment, I would have been hit.
The guy on come fine with me was right to be angry with Jane; she riled him up all week, poking at him for every small thing And on his night she annoyed him so much the atmosphere (which is part of what they're judged on) had gone to hell so nobody could give him a high score no matter what he did Obviously he is also at fault, but he was perfectly nice with everyone until Jane wasn't nice to him
There was actually a little Easter egg joke in the Jay Foreman video you reacted to recently about Tower Bridge which referenced the Handforth Parish Council meeting; during the section where the various prosepctive designers of the bridge were pitching their designs on a zoom meeting (around the 8 min mark), the line 'You have no authority!' was used to amusing effect. As for Jackie Weaver, her IMDB credits are all from her various TV appearances on panel/talk shows after the meeting went viral and blew up. The funny thing is that after all of the furore, I have a vague recollection that it was proven that she was actually in the wrong! Not that any of it matters, parish councils are the ultimate hotbeds of pettiness and usually comprise of people teetering on the verge of apoplepsy because a hedge has become overgrown, or the council painted a public bench the wrong colour (I am citing real 'issues' from my local council here!).
The parish council meeting was funny as hell. It was during lockdown so the only way they could conduct meetings was online and the infamous Jackie Weaver was the only one of them who wasn't an elected councillor but because she set up the meeting she went power mad and just cut off anyone who disagreed with her.
'You're playing badly, because nobody supports your team. You all play with yourself. If you want a fight, then i will gladly agree' I hope that helps with the little angry guy
Ok, if were talking great British RU-vid moments then this is an excellent time for me to plead my case again for carrot in a box and carrot in a box the rematch....come on JJ, they're brilliant!!
Adult cyclists on the pavement is one of my pet hates. Many a time I've nearly been knocked down by an adult cycling on a pavement while I'm walking there. They're a selfish pain in the arse. I've had my rant now, thank you 🙂 Great reaction and great advertising your mug at the beginning there, wishing you well
Totally agree and I am a cyclist. It's actually illegal in the UK to cycle on the pavement or pedestrian area. I give kids a free pass but if you're over 16 get off the path. I live in a large town full retards, the do it in the dark with no lights on dressed in black. I despair.
I have epilepsy and was told to ride on the pavement in case of a seizure. My point is, it's not always about being selfish. That person may have a condition they wish they didn't.
Its the same for me. Years ago I had a dog that ignored bikes on the road, was ok with kids on bikes on the sidewalk but tried to take down adult bike riders on to sidewalk. I miss her. 😂
Great Reaction to this but they cut most of the Ronnie Pickering one off. It started well b4 that and finished well after hence the 8.7 Million views, JJLU:)
Have you ever seen Phil Collins, air tonight live! If not please reach to it and don’t worry about copyright! Many people have reached to this video before 😉
Thar last clip though, you'd probably not be wrong to call that cyclist a wank stain. Even if he was on a shared use path, which I doubt (because it's illegal to cycle on a footpath) he really was going f***ing fast.
You ought to watch the Jackie Weaver council meeting in full. It’s absolutely hilarious. She is so calm and brilliant at dealing with those men. In fact, I think i’m going to do that right now.
I've picked up Ronnie Pickering in my taxi. I used to drive a red picasso and he came to window and said "ir would be a fucking red picasso wouldn't it"
My husband had the misfortune too of picking up Ronnie Pickering in his taxi, my husband refused to acknowledge who he was and Ronnie got so irate he rang the taxi office to complain 😂
@myusernameissusan I had no idea who he was for a few minutes, then it hit me. Him and his wife were telling me the motorcyclist was lying about a lot of it and the video had been cut
Part of the annoyance of the guy hit by the bicycle is that it is illegal to cycle on the pavement unless it is signed as a cycle way. Most people don’t get too annoyed if the cyclists are careful and give way, but sadly there are inconsiderate idiots out there, and some folk have been killed (older folk).
Jackie Weaver was the star, and she won the day😂😂 man who smacked his head into his car was raging as the cyclist was cycling fast on the path/pavement-when he should've been cycling on the road...accident waiting to happen❤
You are not supposed to ride your bike on the pavement in the UK. This is the reason why, you get clobbered by twonks on their bike.i think this guy deliberately injured that poor bloke on the floor.
@@shellyk7049 I have only watched it once, "many moons ago" (longer, in fact!!) So cannot recall it - but actually I was just answering the strange wording rather than actually enquiring as to the double Brian / wife combo!! Hope that alleviates your concern for my apparent (& actual) ignorance of said comment!! 🤔🙂🏴♥️🖖
Jackie Weave DID HAVE the authority! IIRC she was called in from above to sort the kids (men) out. 7.40 - he might have been absolutely sober and planning on getting compensation for wrongful arrest... depends whether the crime he was suspected of (if indeed there was one) is one that obliges him to give name and address like that on the street. Police fuck up a lot!
"Iconic" is one of the most misused and overused words today. The only other words that come close, in this regard, are "legend/legendary" and "literally". These clips may be amusing (occasionally) but they're not iconic.
