I stayed in the favelas in Rio de Janeiro and although they are intimidating on arrival I can honestly say I met some of the most genuine and down to earth people there. People go to work, the kids go to school and people work hard for a brighter future. It's easy for documentary makers to go there and make shows on the negative aspects of the favela but the truth is most people there just want to be safe and live their life's as we do.

The Dutch started the Transatlantic slave trade but the Portuguese were the biggest slave traders in the new world and Brazil was it's central hub. Most African slaves in the US came from either Brazil or the Caribbean. In fact, if you're familiar with the story of The Amistad, Cinque was originally sold to Portuguese slave traders, likely for European firearms, then sold to a Cuban slaver before the slaves staged an uprising to free themselves.

Emperor Alphonso of Brazil freed the slave. A few months later he was deposed and they became a republic.

Hi love the channel you have so much respect for our great country, it's customs and traditions and your personality is truly incredible... Can you react to a video called the story of the unknown warrior here in the UK. It's what inspired your own and a lot of other countries tomb of the unknown soldier. Truly is a beautiful story and the monuments in it like the cenotaph is marched past every year on remembrance day by thousands of or current and ex military and saluted then lay poppy wreaths at its base so do the royal family and politicians and the symbolism is kind of explained in this video. I've had this in the wings for a while. I haven't had time. I'm up at 5, at work at 7 and at work till 5-530 and been working Saturdays lately. As soon as I have time I'm going to record a good bit of stuff, I just haven't had time.

Just a suggestion since you enjoyed Still Game, you should react to Chewin The Fat episodes they are safe too upload onto RU-vid without hassle, it’s basically the same people from Still Game but acting as different characters each clip.

Slavery still exists it's just less openly practiced now. The last *official* castration of an enslaved man in Saudi Arabia was in 1965! (And there are still sex and domestic slaves around the world being people trafficked) it's disgusting.
