Bryan Hagerich hugged his children for the first time in 101 days after landing in Pittsburgh. He had been facing up to 12 years in jail for bringing 20 rounds of ammunition to the Caribbean island while on vacation but a judge suspended his sentence.

The Turks and Caicos Island government “Mandatory 12-yrs sentence!” “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” Inigo Montoya, Princess Bride. In the Turks and Caicos, extraordinary circumstance to avoid a mandatory 12-yr sentence is; “I was on vacation and just careless and didn't check my luggage”. Much ado about nothing! Everyone goes home after paying a fine!
