I think I heir undisputed masterpiece is the mcrib value meal. a meal so catchy that most people probably don’t order an oreo pie. But they should because it’s not just about the pleasures of bbq sauce and the importance of processed pork. It’s a personal statement about the restaraunt itself.
"I'm on the verge of tears by the time we arrive at a food truck since I'm positive they wont have a decent Cubano... but they do and hunger washes over me in an awesome wave." - Patrick Bateman.
This was literally me during lunch working in finance in Boston. Every single day, trying to find the new lunch spot and describing my lunch to my subterranean colleagues.
I don’t know what made me laugh more: was it the was it the concept? Was it the crunching of the bags? Was it the underage voice acting (superbly done btw)? Was it the flop of Paul Allen’s sandwich? I don’t know! This video … is superb sir. Thank you.
@@gotsomham to be fair to Paul Allen, a grilled cheese with some pepper jack and parmesian on the outside of the bread is pretty amazing. No wonder Bateman was jealous.
@@abrahamlincoln9758 No Abe! In 07 I made myself a sandwich, it was an undisputed masterpiece, the main features were onions and olives, a combo so delicious most people don't realize how the flavors bond with each other, but they should! Because it's not just about a quick and convenient food, it's also a statement about how olives (a not too popular food) can accentuate both new and old flavors. Hey Abe!
Damn, you even nailed the fear and dread in your voice in "Impressive, very nice. Let's see Paul Allen's sandwich" the same way Bale did in the movie. Nicely done.
I need to see the people who voice-acted this, sit in this exact room in those seats with even the lighting as it was originally, dressed the same way as their respective characters albeit with no makeup and their own hairstyles, acting out the scene of their creation. If I see this play out the way I described it, it would be the new standard for humour in my book. I swear to God almighty that I am not joking.
I like that even you can see the card in the behind the sandwiches, it just adds to the edit and looks like they sat the food down on a napkin. this is great :D
I haven’t seen the movie yet. So, this is what’s going to be playing through my head the first time I watch this scene. Edit: 9 hours later just watched the movie. Thought about the sandwich the whole time; that was great.
" Look at the subtle off white colouring of the cheese , the tasteful thickness of the bread ,oh my god the sandwich even has a water mark ". - Patrick Sandwichman .
I like how the "bone colored scilian rail" gag is replace with "cherry pepper relish" keeping that same subconscious metaphore for Pat's bloodlust along with the overly complicated title for a simple font/sauce
"I'm on the verge of tears as I don't know if my Happy Meal sandwich will come with a Pokemon toy, or if they have already switched to Tamagotchi toys this fiscal quarter"
"and the sauce is something called cherry pepper relish" as if cherry pepper relish was some sort of exotic unheard of sauce literally made me spit out my drink
