The point is that if the womens football is so great sponsors would come because they want money, even if they are sexist it doesn't matter. Needless to say, in the video they said they got more views for 1 match. That doesn't mean they get more viewers overall, it could be they got so much viewers because of feminist causes and that viewer base is unreliable so future sponsors would be a waste. It could be that sponsors see the message of a highly viewed game and want to get involved in the future but they cant do it retroactively.

The USWNT qualifies each time and the men didn't it the time frame. The biggest problem is the men aren't great so a lot less games and the women play a lot of games. But if they were to play the same amount of games there would be a big pay gap. And lets not forget the playing conditions (turf vs grass, flying commercial vs charter, etc.) that are very different.

Also, Nike has reported that the women's team shirt has been their best selling shirt in the world this year. The women have won four world cups, the men failed to qualify for the most recent world cup. And STILL, the USSF pays them 37.5% of what they pay their male colleagues. Learn to do some minimal research before you open your cakehole.

The team that bring in the most money should also be the team with highest pay for the players! If thats the womens team in the US - then the women should get paid more than their male counterparts just like in most countries where soccer is more popular, men usually gets paid more than woman, (cause they bring in more money)...
