Ive only been going to Colombia for 3 year and every year its getting worse. I dont understand why the Passport bro movement is so Important. This movement and wave of unfortunate lames has put a black eye on us in Colombia and other places also. Black americans are taking the american dollar and tossing it in the air litterally in some cases in the face of less fortunate people and its not gangster and street guys doing this like the lames that always wanted to know what it felt like to be that guy. The energy is becoming negative and its getting worse. The locals say “A Sucker Gets Off The Plane Every Day From America”! Who wants us to fail? If we dont pocket watch and police our selves they will continue to laugh and kill us for doing dumb shit. The elders in our community are some lames these days!😕

As a bw woman that has traveled to 6 continents alone i understand what you're saying. Please, continue to give these bros tips on how to stay safe and stay on point. I've had ish happen to me as a woman too and i learned to be more cautious and research and research an area b4 i travel and that's still no guarantee. I send my condolences to the young's man family..and it's horrible trying to retrieve a loved one's body from anywhere let alone a foreign country and over the years i've seen many tourists death for many reasons. PLEASE KEEP GIVING THESE NOVICES SAFETY TIPS THEY NEED IT.

They made an arrest and recovered a chain and 1 moto (there were 2). There's 3 other guys and another bike involved. Govt got a $20 million reward out for the others. Sadly, the guy they got (el chucho) had been released 20 days before for robbing another Brazilian tourist. Looks like he was out on bail maybe. Victim lost his life in Marbella around 2:30pm. They rode by & obviously saw the chain. Normally nothing happens in Marbella.
