Hey Everyone! I've been extremely busy filming here in Venezuela, but I have so many amazing videos on the way! Make sure to follow me on Instagram for daily stories! ❤️🥳 bit.ly/whichchris_
You are in my city! ❤ That cachapa was impressive! I've had them in Miami and Atlanta and they are ok but not like the one you are having there...omg! So generous in size with the servings over there! Malta is not like soda, malta is even better.
Love your channel! I'm Mexican from Texas but have always wanted to go check out Venezuela. I hear the food, people, scenery and music are all amazing! I've met so many cool people from Venezuela and learned alot about their culture. Hopefully one day i can go visit and make more amazing friends plus enjoy their food and music.
I visited Venezuela a couple of times in 2000 and 2001 when Chavez was just cing to power. It was a beautiful country and I have great memories. I would love to make it back someday.
This was amazing! I'm so glad you visited my city! Thanks for showing some of our foods and drinks to the world! The places you visited were so cool, too!
So many similarities between Venezuela and Zimbabwe. The fuel queues ( which we don't have anymore, thankfully), the hyperinflation, the useless money that no one wants. Loving the food though. Learning so much from you.
It was fun watching you eat all my favorite antojitos venezolanos. I lived there for a year and I miss the street food so much. I can find arepas here, but the cachapas with queso mano? Cachitos de jamón? I’m dying.
Hi Chris! How are you? You should go to The National Pantheon of Venezuela, is a final resting place for national heroes. Was created in the 1870s on the site of the ruined Santísima Trinidad church from 1744 on the northern edge of the old town of Caracas. The entire central nave is dedicated to Simón Bolívar, with the altar's place taken by the hero's bronze sarcophagus. Is covered with 1930s paintings depicting scenes from Bolívar's life. The Pantheon was reopened in 2013 after a 3 year long process of expansion and restoration. In the afternoon there is a changing of the guard that protects the sarcophagus of Simon Bolívar. It is very beautiful and the place is impressive.
Chrriiis!! Omg, I just saw your video of Venezuelan food. How nice that you loved it. But definitely, it is just and necessary a part 2. You missed trying the pepitos, hot dogs, pabellón criollo, parrilla mixta, pollo a la brasa con yuca, arroz frito chino venezolano,, pastelitos de queso, uffff nooo, many many good food!! You can’t leave your YT community without it haha
I am new to your channel, and I loved your documentary. I truly miss the typical Venezuelan food... it's so good!!! I hope you got to try tequeños... they are to die for 🙂
I just stumbled upon your channel glad I did. I really enjoy your energy and you really open my eyes to wanting to visit Venezuela. All you hear especially in the Western countries is how bad it is and inflation issues.
That golden cheese sandwich thing, holey crap, man! So much cheese and it looks so good! I didn't know they were such cheese fanatics there. Where I am in Thailand they don't like cheese period, they think they are ok with it but wave a hunk of cheddar cheese and they are like no way man that stuff stinks! Get out of here with that man! The airport is that way, dude! haha! I love cheese yet another reason to visit Venezuela if I ever getta chance. I hope so, and go to Colombia and Ecuador and Peru an maybe Bolivia too. Now that would be a trip!
Man another great video man. I really need to know how you get the letter notorized from someone there. I'm going to plan on coming next year. Help me out brother.
Thanks so much bro! Luckily my girlfriends mom did it for me, but it wasn't easy! She had to prove that we had some sort of relationship 😭 hope you can make it out here bro! Oh and the notary costs $100... talk about a rip off lol
Another really well done video. Did you use your debit card to pay for everything? The food seems pretty expensive compared to Colombia. The average Venezuelan could never afford these prices.
Thanks for your videos. I'm not a fan of Malta to accompany the empanadas and cachapas. I think is the new generation who takes it like that. I got use to eat those venezuelan dishes with "café con leche of café negro o guayoyo" Enjoy your time in Venezuela.
@@TravelwithchrisHappy to know you're feeling at home in Venezuela. Citizens from USA and all over the world are welcome with open arms. Take care. Lot of love for you and Gladys.
"Malta" is the type of drink, like how "soda" and "juice" are types of drinks. "Maltín Polar" is the BRANDED version of the drink. Other companies can make their own version of malta, but Maltín is owned by Polar. Like how Dr. Pepper is owned by Coca-cola, and no one else can make it because it's trademarked. It IS pronounced "Maltín," but everyone just says "malta," because that's the type of drink. Notes for improvement: I am genuinely glad that you're enjoying our traditional cuisine and spreading awareness about our country! BUT it really bothers me that you say, "you approve." As if we needed your approval, or that it was even yours to give. Am I supposed to say, "I'm glad that you APPROVE of my culture and heritage"?? -- Instead, you could say, "wow this is really good," or, "I highly recommend you try this," rather than "I approve." Really nit-picky, but I imagine viewers native to other countries that you visit might feel the same way about that wording. FortalezaVenezolana🇻🇪💛💙♥️
Any do's and dont's as a foreign tourist in caracas? Other than the food trip. Could there be anything else to see in caracas? Obviously i find it similar to other cities in latin america minus the hicups. I hope you could share more of these through your upcoming videos.
