The scales at the truck stops are there for drivers who have recently loaded to verify that their gross and axle weights are within legal limits... most major truck stops have scales installed and a driver with a load that exceeds about 25,000-30,000 lbs will stop and use a scale at a truck stop immediately after loading. So...the only scales that a driver is required to go through are official state weigh stations or portable scales. Great job on the videos, btw, I love watching you guys!

+Kelland Bailey Yeah I don't get why some random guy would say hey, why don't I ever get called on to them, then make a mod to make it so unrealistic. This is a WTF moment from on that mod. CAT scales or other ones you will find in the real wold at T/S are for us to check our weight to make sure we are legal. I'm just backing the guy above me up on this.

You can open a new garage. I had a 1 space garage in Fresno. Instead of paying $180,000 to add 2 slots to that one, I relocated my truck and driver (me) to Elko, then I sold the Fresno garage. I already have the garages in Elko, San Diego and Sacramento.

If you use any map mod (especially cost to coast) you should enable the developer console which allows you to Teleport anywhere so you can fly over any map bugs

The load weighs 44,000 pounds but you have to figure in the weight of the trailer and truck that is where you get 78, 000 pounds!

Hey Buggs, in the settings you can give yourself up to 6mph. In other words if set you can do 61 in 55 and get no ticket.

+CZF 7228 That setting is for Cruise Control Retarder Toleration. Meaning, setting it at 3 MPH or 6 MPH will allow the Cruise Control to go 3 MPH or 6 MPH over what the CC speed is set to, before it kicks the Retarder on (or exhaust break if you don't have a retarder on your transmission). In simple explanation: 3 MPH setting = if CC is set for 55, allow up to 58 before automatically turning the Retarder on. 6 MPH setting = if CC is set for 55, allow up to 61 before automatically turning the Retarder on. It does not mean the police tolerate up to that much.

Map Mod for C to C, Mexico and Canada Dream must have the New Mexico installed then the map mod order (top to bottom all map mods go first in mod manag) C D, VM then C to C hope this will help with map problem?

MHAPRO MAP has a 1.3 now Buggs, I'm sure you're at 1.2. I just wish they add it to steamwork shop whereas you don't have to go to their site all the time, but I see what they're doing... Also remember, your driver gets more experience the more you play the game, There is not offline continuation. Also Buggs, Change your hired guys skilll off Balance, until he's got enough in the ones you want..

Hey man, just letting you know that the weigh stations at the fuel stations in real life are just to see how much you weigh. So let's say you are coming to a bridge where the weight is 30,000lbs and you weigh 100,000lbs well then you gotta take another road or lighten the load. Also in real life you wouldn't go to every single weigh station. One if you weighed ok on one station getting pulled into one 10 miles down the road would be pointless, Two CHP or any state for that matter, doesn't have enough officers or money to man every station. So going to every station is kinda ultra unrealistic.
