Halo CE on LAN during free days back in school in 2002. Blew my mind back then. Miss the old LAN parties. Nothing else like hauling a PC, TV and all that other heavy shit around to another persons house or cramming it all onto a school bus seat. XD
Hey buggs, my first true multiplayer experience was Left 4 Dead on the 360 in 2005 when the Xbox was released, I still to this day say that Left 4 Dead was one of the best games to ever be released and at this point the only game that could make me buy an Xbox one would be a Left 4 Dead 3, the L4D multiplayer experience is one of the most fun experiences I've ever had playing multiplayer games.
my first multi player game was acctualy warcraft orc vs hunabs, blizzard first brake throught beside diablo, come out in 94 was awsome. miss that game :D
Hell ... First multiplayer games was Chess played over an electronic bulletin board. That was internet in it's infancy. But actually my first multiplayer game was Scrabble played on a server provided by a website. The game was purchased anywhere.
What I love about playing multiplayer games is that I can play with my friends that I don't normally see until the weekend and we can just play for hours
My first thing I played online not split screen was MW3 because my brothers PS3 was in the living room and I stuck out there and played at 3 in the morning every night and that got me into online gaming
