I have friends that ask me all the time, "Why don't you get your CDL and go drive truck in real-life?". Well, because I have seizures and can't hold a DL, so that means no CDL. So playing ATS is my way to experience driving safely and legally. And even if I could drive, I'd still play it because it's a fun experience. In order to get it, you have to play it. If you hate it, so be it; but don't take away that experience from those who enjoy it.
Keep on trucking men nobody is not gonna stop you from having a great experience even if is in a game if ur happy keep at it just block the haters or ignore em they just wanna keep u down
@@younghawkia4758 do you get the aura before a seizure or anything. I don’t know about seizures but I know about these annoying lights you see before something absolutely amazing happens.
I've just recently started doing youtube and a friend of mine said he wanted to start a channel as well. Next thing you know he's wanting me to help him setup montinization and he wants to start a merch line. And it's kinda frustrating because that's the only reason he's doing it. I'm over here doing youtube because I enjoy and love it and he's kinda making it a joke and doing it for the wrong reasons. So yeah I totally agree with you Jeff. It seems like it's the ones with the wrong intentions getting all the attention. It's frustrating as a content creator putting your time into something only for other people to make a "joke" out of it. Either way keep up the good work man, love what you're doing.
There’s a lot of people complaining about the new guidelines, I feel like it might be a good thing. Those are the people who don’t have the passion to do this anyway. When you work your ass off for the people watching you, that’s when YT is so rewarding.
Well said with the speech! The main thing is do what is FUN! As a RU-vidr just starting out I have a new found respect for the work that goes into creating these videos! I have a more important reason than money for why I’m making videos(top secret)! I don’t have a GPU and an old comp but it feels great to have it started! Watching Spiers’ old videos really inspired me!(that’s how I found your DOJ crew) keep doing what you love man!
this is quality content man. its been rough and been wanting to get into a new little game so i looked up us truck sim, and you were the first one to come up. good shit man i love it lol
Hey man thanks for being a genuine gamer that hasn't forgotten about the little guys and that is awesome I have several friends who have become big and forgot the little guy where they started and it feels good to know someone still believes in where they came from you get my sub just for that keep it up
I was debating on getting this game but nice gameplay and looks like decent mechanics. Definitely going to by and try to get some experience with backing and practicing the offset method.
Thank you Jeff for having a sane head on your shoulders (in reference to the RU-vid bs). Also, stellar content as always. Been here early on and can't say enough good about you and the rest of the crew.
In America do the pedals go the opposite way around as you drive on the left side of the road so the gas pedal is on the left brake in the middle and clutch on the right in the uk gas is on the right brake middle and clutch on the left
Amazing video Jeff! Love the fed ex too. I also love the stuff you talk about in these videos. Like how far you’ve came! These videos put it into perspective sometimes
trying to keep up watching all of your videos, love the concept of all series.Very entertaining. And to Nicole - Great Editing !!! nice work ! Nice merch', might get me a new t-shirt the one I got is getting very worn out :)
Yo Jeff I your talks about contact makers is so true I follow you for the fun and you and how funny your stuff can be I seen is people playing like ATS are just crashing their trucks or unnecessary things So keep up the hard work man
All Telepass/IPass/EZPass were located at the top middle of the window when I drove for FedEx National/Freight. I drove semi's for 17 years until I got Vertigo and I will tell you if you try the VR on ATS it feels very close to the real thing, you have to adjust the seat correctly though. Best companies I worked for were FedEx National before it merged with Freight and Roehl Transport. Roehl you can work the way you want I was working 7 days on 7 days off with them. FedEx had a cruise control that had a radar system in the front of the truck so it will keep you 5-7 sec behind the vehicle in front of you so if that vehicle slowed down to 55mph so will the truck we had that on the trucks back in 2008. One thing I saw while you were driving you drive on the right too much. Look in your driver mirror you should be close to that line.
Hey Jeff thanks for your series and the way you're doing this! Maybe some your videos have less views but they all are made with care, and we appreciate this. Just wanted to say.
Hey Jeff! Been watching since 2012 and I've always really enjoyed the content that you have put out. Your core content over the years have been things that are in line with your interests and you're passionate about. As a result the majority of your subscriber base shares those interests and really enjoy watching. It's a huge plus that you put quality content out for us to enjoy! Keep doing what you're doing Jeff!
American truck simulator is back with season 6 just 30 more seasons and episodes to go download the game now and brand new episodes returns after euro bus simulator season 6 premiere at 7;30pm on nickelodeon
Thank you for the wisdom im about to start a channel and you said exactly what i was thinking not to expect a whole lot but still keep working hard and eventually it will pay of or not but just do it for fun and thats what i plan on doing do it for fun do it how i want thanx!! 🙌🙌😎 and i belive sim game are great games to have some fun and its something diff cirst time watching american truck sim and to be honest it looks hell of fun ill give it try at somepoint
FedEx freight we use mostly volvo and kenworth day cabs. All the trucks are automatic though except the one they train you in. As for going over 60, they are "governed" at 65 but you can go faster, things will just start flashing and beeping at you.
You make money by delivering stuff and have to abide by all the traffic laws or be stopped and fined. Build up money, buy a truck etc. Just st like real life. You actually have a steering wheel, clutch, brake and accelerator and gear shifter! It’s very realistic!!
Joe Bill I would, but I got a back injury during my career in the military. I take medication that would prevent me from passing the “piss” test” even though it doesn’t make me sleepy or affect my judgement. But I love gaming and I want to play this game. I’m getting ready to move so I’m waiting to get a set-up till after my move.
I’m actually at a truck driving school right now getting my CDL for OTR driving and your videos are what inspired me to want to do it a few years ago. Great vid and keep up the great work
Jeff fuck the haters ive been a true sub ive never hated on you or what you have done ive made suggestions but to what you think we like like this game its awesome!
thats funny how much time you spent talking about how people want to get paid for making content but dont really put a lot of effort in to their content. You basically just talked about the millennial mindset. I deserve this just because i exist!!!
Hey Jeff, glad to see you making ATS videos. My dad was a truck driver himself before I was born, he mostly hauled trailers, and sometimes chemicals that could potentially kill you if it was spilled. Keep up the great work!
Dear Jeff Favignana, What you explained in this video about all of these different RU-vidrs and such about getting money or whatever, I don't think anyone else could have explained it as well as you. You completely understand everything when it comes to RU-vid as to a lot of other RU-vidrs do not understand. Like myself, I have a few vids and I don't expect any money in return from RU-vid or from anyone who watches my vids. Quite honestly I am a little pee-on RU-vidr. Lol But thank you Jeff, for all your videos and content!
We need a real game, where every single road in the us is on the game and is built to actual size. Also put it all the actual buildings. it would be like a driving simulator that is 100 percent accurate
Ya I'm a ex OTR truck driver did it for 19 yrs been in all 48 states and Canada but I love America truck simulator I play it every day. I all so play grand theft auto 5 trying to put on LSPDFR having some trouble with it ! I got a new desk top gaming computer. I watch your videos all the time every night I watch your videos on ats and grand theft auto. I got cancer so I can drive no more. But I love simulator I'm going to try some flight simulator too. Keep up the good job Jeff
Jeff you are so right and this is true I watch some RU-vidrs and they ask to like and sub every single video and try to sell merchandise. I am glad you enjoy what you do and people watch you because of that. You are awesome! Thanks!
This is why I love your ATS videos. I love the game, which I just bought btw thanks to you, but I really love the fact that we get a candid talk from you on our trip to wherever. The moment you start doing it for the views, you have lost the plot. I want to watch someone actually enjoying themselves as they play not slogging through some game they hate because it'll get 10,000 more views than the game they actually want to play. I started following you because a Code Zero Patrol showed up in my suggested videos but I've stuck around because you are genuine and I love watching your videos and being part of your channel here and on Twitch.
Hey jeff my respects to you man, keep making great content, you, buggs and polecat make my day with doj. road to 700k been here since 400k and i will keep on supporting you
To make the game more interesting I would love to see East Tennessee and West North Carolina added. Check out the Gorge and Old Fort Mountain on I-40. That would be a cool simulation to drive! The smokies are gorgeous and steep downgrades would make it awesome.
Jeff all your videos on City Car Driving Simulator And American Truck Simulator,GTA 5 RP are amazing i dont care what others say there are the bes video game Simulator doing like in real life
I enjoy watching your videos, I think because you aren't forcing yourself to create content as much as how you create with what you enjoy, and how you try to keep everything ligit. I stumbled across one of your ATS videos awhile back and later looked into your DOJ videos. I like how you keep everything realistic and not go off the wall like others. I drive for Werner and get alote of free time, and I stay out up to two months at a time. in case you didn't know Werner and I assume most other large company trucks out there are detuned motors along with the governor. I'm governed at 65mph and my t680 has a 500hp Cummins tuned to 300hp like all company Werner trucks. most are auto transmissions as well, took me almost a year fighting to get this 10 speed. don't know if you knew that but figured I'd add that. sorry for the long comment but keep up the good work. welcome to central Florida hope your enjoying it
I pull doubles for a FedEx Ground contractor. I love pulling just one pup trailer. Feel like such a super trucker. Usually when I get my paper work the trailer weight rarely exceeds 20,000lbs in packages. That doesn’t include the empty weight of the trailer. I drive a Volvo VNL 780 single axle 12 speed automatic governed at 65mph. Used to be 70mph until FedEx cut the speed back nationwide.
