Coming from a trucker - very nice driving. Those missed gears in a new town are actually very realistic. I’ve stalled in an intersection a few times myself while focusing more on traffic and my trailer off tracking and leaving the shifter in high-range. Awesome backing technique also, that FOV mod is a must. Thanks for the update showcasing.
All of my family members are in trucking. My grandpa was a trucker for his whole life. My dad has been a trucker for 20 years. I also have 3 uncle that retired form trucking.
The random events are great. Although the accident one always gets me, I'm always like, "Damn! I hope no one died." SCS really got me worried about pixels that look like people, and seeing a car crushed that bad.
Hey Jeff, great video and I love the truck and engine! There was one thing I caught in your video that's unlegit and that's the shifting on the train tracks. The government does not want you to shift on the tracks just incase you miss a gear and have to restart your process from 0mph, which could be in the center of the tracks. But other than that great driving and the AI is great now, they actually drive pretty realistic, like total idiots.
If you wanted the real swift truck should have had it where you couldn't go faster than 62 mph and hit other trucks and got lost at least 3 times on your journey lol nice that a swift driver actually made on time tho so congratulations on that
Jeff, your ATS series is one of my favorites! We get to see a good game and you have enough downtime to speak on other things. Win-win! As for people losing their minds about Swift, Jeff is just elevating their name!
Great video Jeff, glad to see more ATS content on the channel. I don't have the NM DLC yet, but it looks awesome. I am impressed with the fixes SCS has done to the regular map, this means good news. Keep up the good work!
Anyone else notice that AI traffic has been doing some really "dangerous" things. Not sure if its just the NM DLC but the instance when the bus pulled out the same time as Jeff, I've seen that a lot lately and has actually caused collisions which you will get ticketed for.
The fact that there is actually police cars on the side of the road makes it so realistic! It reminds me of when we were in B.C. and we had to wait for like an hour because there was a car accident across the whole road and on their was a car on the side of the hill!
Only thing I'd disagree with on the random event stuff is the construction zones. The signs for road construction are a bit too close and should be spaced out, maybe with an flashing arrow sign telling you to get over
I personally would say to get you a gaming computer designed for games, I play on a laptop and unless you want to spend a lot of money upgrading your laptop, a gaming rig is the better way to go about it
