American Truck Simulator - Kenworth W900 Long Mod 

(Points out the 700HP engine and acts like it's a lot) (Doesn't mention the 3500HP engine)

Pretty cool simulator, however, after driving for 40 years the last thing I will probably do is come home and play a truck driving simulator. LOL

I recently had a hiccup while attempting to take my irl CDL permit test. Will have to wait until September for truck driving school. This is a game, but your commentary and the game's content is making me itch real bad for my license!!! Love this video! I'm going to subscribe to your channel.

This Kenworth W900L is in almost every 18 WOS series. I use to play 18 wos a long time ago and when this truck came out, It was a enormous size truck to drive. You really need to watch your mirrors.

I've driven the W900 KW and 359 Peterbilt. The engine, turbo, Jake, and wind noise are spot on. I prefer the Pete because you can actually almost see what's in front of you. The cathedral hood of the KW, while cool as hell, will hide a Suburban. It's fine on the interstate, but trying to navigate tight areas with cars and other obstacles is nerve wracking.

I know the struggle about Austin's COTA.. I used to set up the aluminum seating for the races.. Also did concert security for the Amphitheater on the track.. The struggle is real

Love the truck and you defo should keep it...btw, do additional mods, affect gameplay as per graphic card limitations? This is my first time watching you drive in ATS and the only thing i didn`t find enjoyable was the You Tube ads, way to many for my taste. I drive a freightliner for a living and i find your video`s very relaxing and enjoyable. I will be watching more and you have a new sub. Thanks Jeff and those wheels turning.

The only things I hated about running California is 55mph speed limit and horrible pot holes

The more lights the better until you bring it to me to figure out why they keep flickering I hate trouble shooting wiring on trucks

After watching your videos and being a truck driver irl I bought this game. However for it to be a true truck simulator, I think they would need to put in other trucks in front of you at the fuel island taking their 30 min break... also, its fuel. Not gas. There is a difference...

I just spotted your channel on the menu so I am knew here. I've has ATS with Heavy Haul & Mexico, and getting ready to purchase Oregon thru Steam. Love the truck you created / designed. I as of the six months I've had ATS have yet to down load anything that was not SCS related, or mod's as you guys call them. SCS just introduced trailers but I have found some things that are not fun, for example you have to be home to get your trailer back that means while you have your own trailer on, they do not offer "Heavy Haul" jobs even though I'm running a 3 axle van with a slider roof. Also the mirrors have a bit to be desired. While they work great for close up, they are just about useless for a blind side back up which is contrast to normal trucking. If you can get enough room and look out the driver's side window, then you get an accurate and realistic idea of where your trailer is backing into your space. If blind-side backing, then you have no choice but to get out of the truck using #2 on the key board and look at the truck from the outside which is not realistic. They need a zoom or something for the mirrors, so like in a real truck you can use them for blind side back up's, however most truckers do their best to avoid blind side backing up as it's dangerous and can be expensive. Other than that is a great game and I enjoy playing it, even at 65 years old. I was probably first to also play Flight Simulator of this group, I had the year 2000, then 2002 and I have grown tired of the game so I did not down load the new version or purchase it on CD's like my 2002 game is. I have found ATS much more fun. I am currently driving the Peterbilt 389 as I find the long hood is easier to drive and know where you are at on the road especially at high speed. All my garages are full, only one has two trailers in once garage because, I feel trailers limit my drivers because they all have heavy haul equipped trucks. I have roughly 85 million in the bank, my drivers make me a lot of money. When I'm pulling an SCS trailer then I can not do heavy haul even thought I have a 3 axle trailer, so that is kind of wasted. If I drop the trailer, then I have to go all the way back to that truck's garage to pick up an SCS trailer, so if I'm in mexico my SCS trailer will end up back in California. SCS needs to do some better strategy on trailers and certainly a lot of design on the mirrors so you can see a distance of 3 truck lengths like a real truck is especially when doing blind side back up's... Getting out of the truck to back up is effective, but not realistic. Thanks for your video........ I hope over the next coming months to learn as much from you as I have squirrel, if not a lot more. Besides that he never leaves you know he's read your comment. I know he's busy and learning to fly etc, but if you are going to have a RU-vid channel than do it right, and be right with your commenters as long as they are not trolls. Holy shit you Americans are crazy. I personally think that even the standard sleeper cab w900 is extremely hard to drive. I mean I've driven trucks before. But in Europe everyone drives cabovers with a short wheelbase. That gives a lot more manoeuvrability in tight spaces. Long wheelbase is fine as long as you're cruising down the interstate. But damn I sometimes bite into the wheel when trying to back a trailer into the spot on the Rail Export yard in ATS. To be honest I even gave up at some point and switched to outside camera - which is basically cheating imo. But i recently downloaded the nice cabover from Steam Workshop (Kenworth K100 I believe it was called) and that feels a lot more familiar to me. It doesn't have a giant hood getting in the way and it also has a shorter wheelbase. Why is it that long nose trucks are so popular in America? Does this design improve the comfort that much? Or is it only for looks? - a clueless European

11 months old, but i just watched this video. I love Truckee, CA. Has everything to do outdoors. The lake is Donner lake. Named after the Donner party. If you havent heard of them, look them up. The donner pass is very dangerous, but really fun to drive.

I love this game. I got version 1.0 last night and it's amazing. I went and got a Kenworth long for it and it's hard to drive but it's a beast.

Jeff, since your doing KW W900 Long, try doing the KW K100 Long (It's been a long time since I've used this truck so I don't know if its compatible with the latest version of ATS).

Don't wanna be over 45 mins long.... Takes 47 near enough 😂😂
