In Maharashtra we called it mrudunga...there might be different names in different part of mother India 😅....we all should proud of our ancient history we developed this

KHOL is also called MridangA however mridangaM is a similar but different instrument played in south india

This is mridanga not mridangam. Mridanga is played by vaishnavites in eastern India to perform 'sangkeertan' (another form of bhajan). Mridanga is also known srikhol/khol
