Bob Anderson returns a Pan American Gold medal to the Gracie Family after 40 years of holding onto it.
This is the follow up video to the Incredible true story of wrestler Bob Anderson training in Brazil in 1978 with Brazilian jiu jitsu legend Rolls Gracie.
Rolles Gracie Jr. visited Southern California's Legacy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym hosted by Coach Alberto Crane. From there the three of us headed to Bob Andersons house where Rolles Jr and Bob met for the first time.
Along the way, Rolles describes the origins of several Brazilian Jiu Jitsu moves including: The Americana, De La Riva Guard & The Ezekiel Choke
After 40 years, the medal is returned to the Gracies.
I just love this story. I am really appreciative to everyone involved. I hope you enjoy.

This man, Bob, more important than the great fighter he was, he is a great person. This meeting between Bob and Rolls was very good for both of them. I'm from Brazil and Rolls was the best bjj Gracie fighter ever.

You know I as a wrestler I did cross trained with some BJJ guys. They would not let me start from my feet. I think it is just a comfort thing(or advantage thing).

Isn't the Kimura the same thing as Americana because Kimura used his hold on Helio Gracie in there fight in 1951 and used it on Helio.

American goes towards the head and back, the kimura towards the waist and back.

I really enjoyed watching both parts 1 & 2, your video documentary is amazing, I was really touched when Mr. Anderson presented the Pan American Gold Medal to his son Rolls Jr., on his father's behalf. I'm sure Rolls is really smiling down at the two.

An amazing story, what a lovely person Bob Anderson is too. I remember seeing or hearing about the medal story years ago and really hoping Rolles would be able to collect this on behalf of his father. So glad to see it happened. Rolls was in my opinion the real genius of the Gracie family. He really is a legend, like something from Greek mythology or a fantasy novel, the prince that was promised meets Ser Arthur Dayne.

@@Slymo11 Thank you very much for your kind words, stud! I'm pretty reclusive and private after such a busy and public career. I will have to get my story out sometime, but am immersed in private training and my art for now. Enjoying the silence. Again, thank you so much and I hope this note finds you having a fantastic day :)
