The best thing in a Kid Rock performance was after the last tune he walked up to a soldier (in an audience of soldiers because it was in the Middle East) and gave him the guitar he had been playing all night. I was touched by his gesture and that permanently established my perception of what Kid Rock is. He is the real thing and I hope his senate ambitions pay off for him and America.

My son's best friend just went to the US for the holidays. He's been double jabbed for the trip but still caught covid. I tried to reassure my son the US would take care of him. Last night (Christmas day) i learnt one of your folk had took pity and let him stay in his loft. I have always loved you America and I always will! I have to give credit to Penn in his role in the movie "Colors"....That fight/arrest scene with the character "Two-time" was a much better fight than Roddy Piper and that other dude in "They Live" where Roddy was trying to get the other dude to wear those glasses. I mention this because in numerous discussions about the "best fight scene in a movie", (especially in a bar with a bunch of drunk dudes) it's almost INEVITABLE that the fight scene in "They Live" will make the Top 5, and that scene in "Colors" wouldn't even get honorable mention. Does the Oscars even have a category for best fight scene? They should you know.😶
