Guys it's a very simple concept, players play for club teams for money and the commercial aspects of the game. They also play for their respective countries. I know it's a concept for many Americans it's hard to understand. If American football, baseball, and basketball is also played by more than one or two countries, you would be clear with the concept.

Bro World Cup! They were the last to win it... That's why I was telling ya to do the 2022 USMNT being American, they are young but good. Likely wont make it to semis but when we have WC2026 in US/CAN/MEX I think we got a shot to win it. You guys are definitely learning the world of football by watching the top club teams and players but there is a much bigger world of football, even domestically. What is cool is that you have a guy like McKinnie from the US on Juventus and in international play you see all your countrymen come home and play together... but then you have teams that literally qualify with fishermen, dentists, etc... with maybe one or two professional players because their country is small.. Iceland is a good example of that.. but when World Cup comes around, it's cool knowing where all the players go home to play for... Ronaldo to Portugal, Messi Argentina, Hazard Belgium, Pulisic USA, De Bruyne Belgium, Ramos Spain, Modric Croatia, Alphanso Davies Canada, Neymar Brazil, Suarez Uruguay... etc. World Cup and Champions League are the two top tournaments in the world (until Club World Cup gets bigger and is the winner of all the international confederations playing...So champions league top qualifiers, CONCACAF top qualifiers, etc all play in a World Cup style tournament to see who the best Club team is in the World, not just Europe, however it is pretty lopsided and not very popular as it's pretty new.. well see how it progresses over the years, it may very well change with the rise in the USA, if their clubs continue to pour in money and accumulate and build talent and attract stars in the future) There are other good leagues out here too.. But still, Nothing beats World Cup... Best qualifying country's win the chance to be best in the world.. So you better start getting caught up for that red white and blue boys!!
