I've watched so many hours of pakistani travel vlogs and watching your family in Pakistan adds a whole 'nother dimension to the travel experience. Pakistan is my most desired country to visit. We don't just keep the meat for all the family and relatives. A decent amount of it is given to the poor in the village/ town that otherwise can't afford meat. That's part of the tradition too. Not sure why he didn't mention that this is what you're supposed to do with some of the meat
@@Vipr9 it's typically a third. One third is for your actual household.. the other third is for relatives/ extended family and the final third is for the poor. So "some" is a more fitting description than "most" although I'm not sure if you have to stick to these ratios and could give more than a third to the poor if you wanted to instead.
Guy in blue kurta was all over the place so here it is: the animal sacrifice needs to be divided in three parts: 1 for yourself 2: for friends and family 3: for needy Everyone who could afford are supposed to do it. It is Abrahamic tradition and it is mentioned in bible book of genesis as binding of Isaac. Islamic story mentions Ishmael instead of Isaac as son. Just something common in islam and Christianity. This eid (happy or joyous) day is specially for poors as they cant affordy to buy meat. The leather of these animals mostly goes to leather factory for making wallets, jackets e.t.c
Wow restaurant opened on Eid in day time , dats new . Eid n Xmas time where shops business school bazar restaurants closed Sometimes restaurants opened at night for treats party etc Cheez paratha yum yum n opened on Eid . Good Goats cows camels sacrificed for sharing meat with poors n relatives, 3rd part for ourselves, so goat cow camels meat devided for poors relatives ourselves, Pakistan sending meat on Eids for poorer countries or for poors to share meat . So aim n cause n motive so great Pakistan 🇵🇰 zindabad
I am glad you folks had a great time. I would suggest to come back next year right when the ice is melting in the north of Pakistan. You will fall in love with it. I understand with kids it will be a challenge.
So so sacrificed animal is divided in 3 parts. 1 goes to the less fortunate people who are unknown to you. The 2nd part goes to the family and friends and the 3rd part goes to the person sacrificing. Only if you had been invited by some local family so you could experience the delicacies of eid. Its like food all day.
Good communication skills are so much important. Basically the sacrificial meat on Eid is divided in three equal portions of same quantity and quality. 1 portion goes to the poor, 1 to the relatives and 1 can be used by yourself.

Yes I agree that u don't simply just give money like that, it's better not to encourage simply giving money then they will tend to look at every foreigners as potential money machine and go ask.. but I'd suggest u to always tip when someone does some work for you in this way it's so much better to tip a little. It goes a long way to encourage them to work to earn money .. way far better to tip when they do some work for you. Sometimes it's good to give back to the community since you're a RU-vidr. If you're a full time RU-vidr then do give back to the community since you earn by people watching and subscribing your channel and so. Yeah the best is just tip something. That would be nice for them earning something extra you know. Cuz life ain't easy there brother.
Great blog guys. Pink tea is pink because the type of tea leaf. After boiling the dry tea leaves for 2 hours it turns the water pink. It might be because of the iron content in the leaf but im not sure exactly.
Hello, this might help you (about Kashmiri pink tea): The pink color doesn't come from an artificial (or natural) coloring, it's a result of chlorophyl in tea reacting with bicarbonate of soda that's added to boiling tea leaves.
So for your information we have two religious festival small Eid call eid ul fitar which is celebrated at the end of The month of Ramadan and then Big eid called eif ul adha which is celebrated on the pilgrimage Hajj which basically involves sacrifice of any kettle in the small Eid we don't sacrifice and this meat from the sacrificed animal is divided into 3 parts one for yourself one for the relatives and one for the poor people around you thank you so much stay blessed ❤❤❤
You know Jonathan, Eid is celebrated in remembrance of Abraham's submission to God by following his dream to sacrifice his son Ismael and God doesn't like a human sacrifice so he replaced Ishmael with a Lamb. That's the reference for Eid celebration.😊
The pink tea is made with special tea leaves,these leaves give pink colour after boiling,its preparation is a little tedious, milk and nuts are added,it is a traditional tea from Kashmir
Actually now a days sacrifice depends on the availability of good experienced butcher n all are booked before Eid because demand is very high for 3 days
