At 6:46, it’s called the Elastico or Flip Flap. Also, the spin move is called the Roulette. Zinedine Zidane was the master of it. You should definitely check him out!
Reading body language is very important part of the game. If you are good at it, you can have an idea of what the oponent is about to do. Maybe not a 100% accurate, but you'll be close and this makes defending easier. Ronaldinho was IMPOSSIBLE to read. The dude could literaly do whatever he wanted with the ball using ANY part of his body. A real nightmare to defend against.
At 5:44, you said, "Teaching the youth." The youth was a 12- year-old Messi. The at 15:40..Ronaldinho passes to Messi, who scores for Barcelona's first team.
@twitchboy1439 You're correct. I remember thinking as l posted that it would be 5 years between the first appearance of Messi in this video and the second appearance of Messi in this video, which is not right...but l couldn't be bother to look-up dates and change it. Relax, bruv...it's not that serious.
That kid is not Messi. Ronaldinho arrived to Barcelona in 2003, messi would have been 16 years old by then if they shot this video right when Ronaldinho stepped off the plane
@@turritopsisrockolaIt was Messi 16 years, they played an attacking trio. Ronaldinho, Eto’o and Messi and Thierry Henry came after that, I am sure you’re young to know this.
@@yanntsala414 dude, that kid's name is Cristian Ceballos, search him and Ronaldinho. Messi was, as you said, at least 16 years old, not a midget. And I'm probably older than you, I went to see Maradona play in person
I am glad that you had been able to enjoy and appreciate THE GREATEST PLAYER THAT HAD EVER TOUCH THE BALL OF FOOTBALL, none other player had been able to transmit so much love for the game, you will find a horde of messi and ronaldo kids thrwing their lightsabers at each other but like Ronaldinho there had only been one.
The GOAT discussion is always heated but to me it goes to Ronaldinho hands down. He made the best players in the world look like helpless kids in the pitch every time. And half the time it looked like he wasn't even trying. The world never saw raw talent like that again. Always a joy to watch.
prime Ronaldinho is the best - sadly his career / prime is very short in comparison to Messi CR Maradona Pele etc. but 100% no one did or does it like him - he was the complete footballer and then some; people nowadays dont even know whats ball anymore - with players being good, cause they can pass or run fast...
Love your reactions lol. Ronaldinho is the master of dribbling, so effortless, everything was second nature to him. I do have some recommendations for future reactions if you'd like: I definitely think you'd enjoy watching Zidane, that man's elegance was unmatched. Also you've seen Ronaldo's shooting which is unparalleled but his dribbling was also out of this world. Please react to one of these videos "Cristiano Ronaldo - The Man Who Can Do Everything" (kind of educational on all moves) "Young Ronaldo was INSANE" (to see how he was in his early 20s), "Cristiano Ronaldo- The Ultimate showman" (Really Dope Montage) and "Cristinao Ronaldo- Fighting Till The End" (Most Movie-Like 3 part series you'll see) For Messi I'd recommend "Messi vs Physics" Neymar's dribbling is also insane to react to. Another fun video: "These Football Skills Should Be Illegal" ALL Of these Videos Are Bangers Make sure to go at the pace you enjoy and Goodluck with your journey 😁
His prime were only 2 years, but in this short time he was the best player, ever lived, to touched this wonderful ball. The pure essence of football. The only player EVER who has no haters! Everyone who loves football, loves Ronaldinho!
Your ability to spot talent is awesome. He is the best footballer to watch ever, and probably ever will be. If he pops up in a charity match, i'd watch it. Any chance to see his talents is well worth it. I even watched him in some Indian indoor match. Most of this video is against some of the best defenders and midfielders in history
Ronaldinho is basically Soccer Alan Iverson Great player, a step below the absolute legends, but the most fun to watch. Maybe even Dr J Definitely a sixer
You should react to the beauty of football. It shows all the best goals and players and each clip are special and big moments and says why in the bottom of each clip
The move you asked about is called an "elastico" (rubber band). Ronaldinho is not the best player of all time (although he's certainly a legend). But he is the most technically gifted player ever to lace up football boots. One v one, I take him over everyone. He had a reputation (exaggerated by his critics, IMO) for being undisciplined. Surely, he didn't have the drive and longevity of some other greats. So, it's fair to say it was a relative weakness of his game. But, for sheer skill and entertainment value, everyone else is taking a number behind him.
i recommend you react to : *Ronaldinho ● Insane Freestyle Tricks* (11M views) (C : g Element) (5min 35sec) __________________________________ New sub from Chile+1 BONUS TRACK (The Ronaldinho of Basketball) *Jason Williams' Most Amazing Passes | NBA Career Highlights*
Let me tell you a fact, Ronaldinho dribbled through the greatest defence of all time the ones like gattsuo, stam, madini, nesta and cafu they are the goats in their position but Ronaldinho played with them like nothing😮💨 Edit : a reminder, Ronaldinho never played in his full potential some said he was lazy but the lazy man made the goats his dog
Watch Kevin De Bruyne best passes The best midfielder in the game(the best PLAYER in my opinion), no one can replicate him and his magic is what made me fall in love with the game
If ypu like raw power/rocket shots combined with great skills, you might like to check out Roberto Carlos. He's also from Brazil and a defender, but that guy scoring outstanding goals. Ome of the best attacking defenders of all time in my opinion
Ronaldinho at his peak was HIM. He could've been the GOAT, but he was such a party boy so his peak was relatively short. Also one thing about him, the fact that he played with that wide smile on his face made him almost impossible to hate.
World Cup 2006 broke his career... he said that himself... the best team brasil ever had, played so bad, that there were weeks of street roumours... statue of Ronaldinho demolished... shame, hate and death threads for the whole team. It was a desaster for the players and the country. He needed months to recover and never reached his peak performance afterwards...
@@saschak9907 ah ok i never heard about that... That's a good story to know... And that world cup also robbed us of peak Adriano... Man that was tough...
Highly recommend checking out Zlatan Ibrahimovic if you're looking for entertaining players. He's one of a kind. Big as hell, cocky, strong, shoots like a horse, and technical af.
That golden ball is the top trophy for an individual soccer player, based on what he achieved with his team (Barcelona), his national team (Brazil), it's also considered the indiviual's performance during the season of thhat year etc. Briefily, it means he was the Best Player in the World in 2006. The prize's name is "Ballon D'or". *** every year, a male player and a female player are chosen to receive such prize. Ronaldinho is something else indeed! As a Brazilian, I can say for sure. In dribliing skills, pass, awareness, freestyle, footwork ... He was the best. We call him "The Wizard".As you can see, there is no need to explain the reason for this nickname. He is the kind of talent who appears every hundred years on Earth.
