It won't get banned, it's a huge part of the Island's culture and history. The people that race there want to be there and the people that go to watch enjoy motor racing. It's great, if you ever get a chance then go along, there's nothing like it.
And now for the sidecars......ps RIP Bob Price (the crash into the building protector at the Raven pub) the guy off the hill is Conor Cummins. Hes fine, mental but fine🏍️💨💨
@@monza1002000 I was coming back from the IOM at Easter heading to Stroud when the heavens opened, so I pulled into a garden centre for a coffee and got chatting to a fascinating older chap who raced at the same time. The rain passed and we ended up with our wives doing simultaneous eye rolling to get us back on track. Didn't get his name but a nice bloke who said the same of Bob.
One of the people that came off is Guy Martin and survived i would recommend checking him out although from my understanding his retired but instead he does other crazy stuff and doesn't take life seriously hence why his got balls to do crazy stuff.
There was only one as I know of that was fatal in this video and that was the one that went over the bridge (Ballaugh btw) and into the side of the pub which is called The Raven. It was shown twice and his name was Bob Price. The rest believe it or not survived, even the one that went over the cliff and bounced over the wall. I wish they would stop showing Bob Price's crash and have some respect for his family but it seems to be on every crash compilation.
"what drug do you have to take?" It's called adrenalin, and it is highly fucking addictive 🙂. These boys love riding fast, love riding to the limits of their machines, and their own reaction times No does this because they want to crash, they do it because it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on!! I completely understand the buzz that keeps these riders coming back, year after year
The bloke that went over the veranda and cartwheeled over the fence was Connor Cummings. Broke his back, busted his arm and had injuries to his leg. Now back racing bikes again after years of rehabilitation. About 265 people have been killed in the TT race, both riders and spectators in its over 100 years of existence.
Check out Guy Martin outruns a helicopter. If you watch closely you can see fireballs coming out of the egsust. The man is born on another planet. And an English treasure.
Guy martin is completley mad but he's a great personality and i think he's loved by everyone who loves motorbike racing, these men are incredibly brave and incredibly brillant, resect.
That one crash was Guy Martin , he broke his back and split his sternum and that’s for starters , a week later he was back in the pit working on lorries , hard core 🥸
It's not that dangerous for the spectators, there's only been two fatal crashes involving spectators, one in 1939 and another in 2007. When they mention members of the public being killed, it's while riding their own bikes on the course when it's not closed for racing.
More people have died climbing Everest , are you going to ban that as well .As a spectator their are plenty of safe places to view the racing , you do not have to put yourself in harms way .🇬🇧
There's always the guy that like his style of freedom but judges everyone else negatively for their choices and plays the danger death card to justify their bias .
Most survive Majority of watchers survive too! Death ave 2 per year!!! They didn't show Guy Martin's huge ball of flame!!! Cartwheel down field year in hospital and then back racing 🇬🇧 It's what true freedom allows!! Imagine premiums in US That's just the riders!
Actually officially there have only been 2 spectators killed during racing and they were in the same incident. Most 'spectators' who are killed are on open roads when racing is not on. I know it used to be the case that at least one would be killed on Mad Sunday when the circuit was opened for the public to ride and they could open it up on the Mountain as it was and still is one way.
Of course, this kind of video is not entertaining, but there are dozens of videos that do not show accidents and show how fantastic this sport is. Racing at the limit. Men drive machines to the limit on a road and not on a race track. Yes, it's dangerous, but when people watch boxing, no one talks about the deaths. In records since 1890 of boxing matches under different rules, about 10 deaths per year have been documented. What now?
I avoid dangerous stuff but such things shouldn't be banned. I also won't say "it's your own fault you crashed, you deal with it". We should always help and look out for each other, including those risking life and limb in dangerous sports and hobbies.
It was NOT all Isle of Man , a few clips were in Ireland A couple on the Isle of Man An Average of Three a race week . I think the Americans should keep their Wimp noses out this is the Isle Of Man , You have Your Presidents to worry about
Not a fan of this video as it shows several riders being killed. We all accept riders are taking the risks but watching people die isn't entertaining (or cricket as the English would say).
Actually there is only one fatal crash (although shown twice) in the video as I know of and I know most of the crashes and the outcome. But I do agree that they shouldn't show the fatal ones and think of the families. As I have said else where on this thread of comments the fatal one is Bob Price who went into the side of the building that is actually The Raven Pub. It seems to be on all crash compilations unfortunately.
