I was in morocco for two weeks in October the bread they make is to die for !! The culture the food is amazing!! I was in agadir ❤️❤️ want to come back very soon and explore more !❤️❤️ xxx
Amen ! i came to say that!!!!! don't know what's wrong with people! was shocked to hear that $17 for full meal for 2 people is expensive! i'd happily pay $50 for that any day!
Florian Innefable It actually depends where you eat you can get a full meal for 2.5 euros and can you tell me where will you live and how much money you will bring with you so i can give an example about what to expect
@@Iemandniemand95 no , it depends on the restaurant , if you're at a nice place with nice surroundings and location and furniture and more employees you have to expect the price to be more , because naturally how would they pay for all that stuff plus the bills etc ? you would probably find a couscous dish for 1 to 2 people for 35dh or 40dh at small restaurants that we call "les snacks" where you would find lots of western food
Er Bee No. But the claim was THE OLDEST University. Not the University functioning today that is the oldest. THE OLDEST University claim is still India.
Good point. But for example when the oldest human in the world dies, the second oldest becomes the oldest. I guess you could say the Indian university is the FIRST university..
You think $17 a 3course meal for 2 is expensive? Seriously? What you were eating is actually 3times healthier than what y'all eat in the USA! For $17 you get a meal in Ihop which is one of the worst restaurants!
Amen !!! i was surprised to hear him saying $17 is expensive! i thougth he was being sarcastic!!!! lol i wish i can have that entire meal for $17 here in Canada!! I'm originally from morocco & that's a normal price for a full meal for two and could be more than that depending on the place ! Ugh come on people!!! 😑😑😑
Layladventures Here they think morocco is cheap ,,i am moroccan and i spent more than 20 dollars for food just by my self ,,i don’t know why this guy complained about spending 17 dollars for two people ,., also the lady said she wasn’t expecting hot water in her shower ,,seriously lady hahaha. morocco has more history than Usa no offend but people need to be more humble and don’t disrespect other culture ,,,, i live in america and life there is way way difficult than any other country ,,,come on guys give me a break
Florian Innefable dude moroccan people i think they spend more than europeans in food ,,you should come over on summer times and you will see all restaurants bars nightclub are full ,,so this guy complain about 17 $ and he is an american ,,,,17 $ in usa can get you two baguettes cheese cheap one and bottle of water ,,,, so stop showing morocco in bad image and giving people wrong infos about it ,,,yes plenty of poor people but they don’t care when it comes to food ,,,and believe it or not when i go eat two persons ,,,i spent between 20 and 30 $ without counting gas money or taxi etc
Mithaweed's comment below is spot on about North Africa based on my experience. I will say after a fair amount of time visiting Morocco, it is fantastically diverse in regard to landscape and the people are wonderful. No way could I live in Marrakesh, Casablanca, or Fes (great cities but not for me). Ohhhh but Meknes and the super relaxing laid back Essaouira are gems. One must be a WISE traveler in these parts. Do not miss traveling to Morocco. My heart melted remembering Fes as I watched. I cant wait to see more of Josh and Ashley's adventures in this land. Way Cool! Way Helpful! Way Awesome! This country was built on the basis of glory. It abounds of rich cultural heritage and moroccans are known for their generosity and kindness, what else can you expect from people with strong identity forged upon the rich cultural heritage and strong attachement to the land and the continuous and successive pursuit of glory and an aura of autonomy and independence. Moroccans have a strong will and determination to preserve their independence. that's why they repelled successfully all the invading waves. the history of this country will be commemorated forever in history and eventually, in humanity. moroccans are people of values, honor and pride who are ready to assist the misadvantaged. these virtues are rare and scarce in this world nowadays. but moroccans are truly distinguished people !
Having traveled a few times overseas I also came to understand what a luxury it was to have a hotel with a spacious bathroom including a full size tub and hot water.
I’m a Moroccan who lives in the United States and i haven’t visited Morocco for 3 years now lol and i was saying waaaw through out most of your shooting. You managed to impress a Moroccan which means you did a really good job filming. Cheers
You have to meet local people and talk to them, get invited and eat traditional meals with a local family because Moroccans are welcoming people and so generous, see how people live, go through narrow streets deeper and deeper, go to the Atlas regions and reef, see the real beauty revealed. Don't chose the tourist way, be like a native person and feel the Moroccan vibes.
I loved watching u guys discovering a small part of my beautiful country❤️ I just want to let you know that the price u guys paid for the food is normal (thats what I usually pay for couscous and tajine) = 18$ which is a veryyy convenient price for the amount and the quality of food u guys had 🙃 I love watching ur videos guys . Waiting for ur next trip 👍
Thanks Josh for the quotations, Africa shouldn't be thought as one big country, since it's a continent, lol. North Africa is also very different to let's say West Africa.. Hope you enjoy your stay in Morocco, the food looked yummy !
Food is amazing in Morocco, you have delicious dishes such as RFISSA,COUSCOUS,TAGINES,MARKA,TANGIA only in Marrakesh I think,DJAJ BIL HAMED,KEFTA,HARIRA,KROUSH ...Bread called BATBOT,MSEMEN used for RFISSA DISHES or just for breakfast with Mint tea called ATAYE,a must drink humm...MELWI ...and pasteries like KAHBOU RZAL,à must try if you like almonds,RYIBA ...anyways various delicious dishes ...just google the words and you ll see how it looks like and even how to make it sure with the famous cute Morrocan Chef called CHOUMICHA
Morocco and its aborigine people Berbers are very welcoming. Berbers are the world oldest human race. They welcomed Jewish, Africans, Arabs to Morocco. They have great cuisine, music..etc. . I love Morocco
The bad thing that we live here in Morocco that you can come and see and enjoying here in Morocco But for us we can't travel to your countrys like America or Canada.. Always we need visa and much difficults.. 🤐
hey guys I was so happy seeing you enjoy a part of our country, hope you come back again ❤❤ my advice to you is to ignore those venders if you're not interested just don't respond I know that you want to polite but if you say no thanks it's like giving them the permission to insist can't wait to see more of you adventures
hey guys, we just got home from a week in Marrakech and like you we noticed all the cats there. we were told they weren't there for keeping the mice or rats away, but for the Scorpions...IIIEEUUWWW!! Scorpions are herbinating now apperently but in the summer the cats take care of the Scorpions. We loved Morocco, loved the food and hope you guys will enjoy your time there :)
So hi and welcome to Morocco , i’m Moroccan, my advice is do some research because there is lot and lot of think that you gonna miss, fes is great but don’t wast your time there, 2 days is enough to see what is good to see there, then go to chefchaouen (the blue pearl) and try to not miss akchour, go to marakech the red city, maybe tangier, if you like snow then go to ifran or oukaimden its neer marakech and finally try to go to marzouga (the sahara). All the places that i mentioned worth to be visited and every city has its own charm.. no one is like the other, and i hope you had great time :) sheers.
Fez is among touristic cities in Morocco. But Marrakesh is way more touristic. If you search for a real experience go to small unknow cities or to the capital or Casablanca.
If any outsiders want to come to Morocco i recommend: ~~Chafchaoune (sha-f-sha-wa-ne) its a beautiful city painted in blue and white 💙 ~~or if you want a Touristic city with amazing hotels and Waterparks you should visit Marrakesh ❤️ ~~then there is Casablanca its an economic city meaning there are stores and restaurants from different countries such as Wayback Burger. It also has a big mall and alot of cinemas .....
Haha! Don't worry about it. The effort alone is appreciated :) Keep up the great work. I really hope you can visit more middle east countries. I loved the Qatar series.
I think you got it right but it seems ammarabdulfattah isn't Moroccan to accurately get it. I clearly heard you say "sobah ala khayr", you had to say "tesbah ala khayr" which is in Moroccan Arabic dialect means "Good night" (literally: be well at morning), so you were right! "Sabah al khayr" is "Good morning" ("sabah al" not the previous "tesbah ala"). I know it's a long comment, so ... want some tea? 😄
I literally shead some tears watching this cute couple exploring Morocco with absolutely no expectations. I loved how you guys gave it a shot. I really wish to meet you at least for one day if you'll ever come to casablanca and take you to some great places to make you try the whole thing I literally want nothing from you guys you seem like great people and I want you to get the whole experience ! please answer to my comment it will make my day
I went to Tangier's in 1986 it was amazing, visited, fez, Rabat and ceuta best holiday ever , still got my berber rug, paid 50gbp, now worth 2000 GBP !!!!!
One thing u don't know about Morrocan men they are very nice with strangers. Some of them just married strange womens and live in love forever. Everyone welcome to Morocco .
I am from the south of Morocco but now live in San Diego. You got a great price. For such food, it will cost you 20 dh minimum each in the south of Morocco.
claustrophobic!!! is because the old town is over 1200 years old and was build according to the norms of architechture back in the old days., too bad no one guided you to visit the oldest university in the world founded by a woman called " fatima al-fihrya, called the university of Al-karaouine UNESCO world heritage built in 859AD.
About the weather in FEZ its cold and rainy between October and February; and extremely hot in the summer. Same thing goes on marrakesh/agadir/mekenes/essaouira. Another tip guys which is: speaking French can be very helpful due to the fact that the majority of Moroccan don't speak English especially if you come by locals. There are much more to say and welcome to Morocco guys.
welcome to kingdom of morocco i hope you all enjoy the adventure and food.dont forget swimming in the beautifull blue water. camels trip on the beach of jadida, fresh baked fish, and the best orange juice of the world. everyone s welcome to visit our beautifull country , beach, mountains and snow in the north, city life in de middle of morocco, and dessert adventure in the south
My mouth was watering when I saw that meal. I'm from Morocco but I live in the US, and I haven't had a Moroccan meal in ages. Btw, the price you paid for that meal is pretty good. I usually pay more that when I visit. Enjoy your journey!
do you have any plan to visit northern asia? india, nepal, bangladesh, indonesia, vietnam or malaysia? I am from bangladesh. I am cordially inviting you to come to my country. chao :)
Great impressions! We have been to Fes but also travelled through the the whole country. You can check out the video on our channel to see some impressions from Essaouira, the Sahara Desert, Marrakech and Rabat. Enjoy it!
Gays you are so cute together 💚 Welcome to Morocco every time 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦There is uncountable wonderful places to visit and you going not have a problem with people..just fun 😊😊
it s better if you go to some other cities rather than marakech, marakech is full of tourists and doesnt represent the real beauty of morocco, also the prices are exagerated, so you ll need a moroccan friend to tell you the real prices, and welcome to morocco anytime
Do you guys keep little mementos from the countries you visit and send home? Do you ever buy clothes from the countries you visit as you travel? What about health insurance and any dental work? Air B & Bs, would you say they are better than hotels? Last question, because you kind of go different places on a whim, what shots did you have before you left? Sorry to bombard you, these are things I need to know for next year so thanks in advance.
The meal it corect cost it not high price don't forget it delicious not like food u have in usa hhhhhhh everything health vegetables and meat it testy not like USA nothing testy 20😜
You guys are amazing! I love you ^^ Thank you for coming to Morocco and making such a great video about it! Actually you uploaded that video one day after my birthday! xDD Morocco is nice, and great, especially for tourist people who would love to visit here and see our culture, food, and nice places as well. I liked and subscribe ^_^
I’m going in couple weeks and never travel there before. My only concern is going through customs. How was ur experiences and what did they ask of you?
WΔY ΔWΔY - The Way Away, travel and lifestyle it's stupid anyway , americans adore what the american tv want to show them , general culture is absolutly absent :)
+Sony black warrior ohhhhh never been recist bro , did you know how much relegions in morocco ???? I swear that i was choked when i travled there....EVeN the voodoo sorciers live in piece ! And i swear that i found KSI over there .... Look jst dnt trust the betches in usa , they are the rasict
It is totally acceptable to lay down it's meant to be comfortable. Your knees won't fit under most tables like that. I sat on the floor most of the time.
Yeah. Most touristy areas you're going to find them. Its best to get our of the tourist areas and try and explore the areas where the locals hang out. -Ash
The earnestness of the street sellers can be unbelievably annoying but if you will take a moment and watch they are fascinating in their grasp of human nature and selling. In addition, they are trying to make a living. Can you imagine being that aggressive all day? They earn every dollar. Please note that if you stop and shop know your prices and be willing to debate price. Of course, don't try to get away with something for nothing but debate for a fair price. Now to jbilojbila's point in most instances a simple "no thank you" with a serious face will do. LOLOLO ... if you say no thank you with a smile most street sellers in Fes, Marrakesh, and Casablanca will just try harder. It was a hard lesson for me to learn.
mylon i was selling myself to continue my studies, and i m sorry that this annoying thing happened to you, it s not like all these street sellers are trying to make a living, it s their way of being raised, and their greed, sadly autorities have done nothing to stop it, i guess most of this sellers make more than you make and more than this couple make, the ones who serve in jamaa lafna make to 300 euros every night so make your math but they ll always dress in a bad way and look like poor people and not wealthy people , that s what i hate about them, i made while selling at max 20 euros a day but it looked like i win 500 euros everyday the way i was dressing and looking, it s just bad habits
You got a bargain we go to Morocco 4 times a year it's where my husband is from you did not get ripped off you got a very natural healthy meal for a very cheap price...👍
I haven't been to Morocco yet, but I've done a bit of research in the past. Thing is, a place like Fes, and cities like it, tourists are a natural part of the environment. It's always been touristy. Of course the prices would be higher in the center. Looked like you still received good value for the price. I plan to go with a guide since it could help with learning about the area, and not getting lost.
hmmm North Africa...I have a little experience...I was married very briefly to a Berber ...the culture on the surface is one way but very different underlying...keep your eyes open and your senses sharp...some kindness is sincere and some is manipulative...be wise and safe! xo!
it IS a crazy story...it starts with "I met him in Paris and he followed me home..." Sadly it ends in a much sadder way...we must live to learn... :-( But I am here to tell the tale :-)
Everyone wants to talk about Trump with me too haha. "Did you leave because of Trump?" "So what do you think about Trump?" 😅 8:57 I can see now why Josh needs glasses 😂😂😂
Regardless of who the current American president is when you travel to a far away lands locals will always comment on American politics. It's their way of starting a conversation.
+James Feil well thats probably because it's on the top 5 of worlds 'nasty corrupt sticking your nose across the 7 seas' politics 😂. There you have it, good day ☝.
i wouldn't say so much Clock was touristy. Just a place to eat to avoid the issues you guys had like we did when ordering elsewwhere and the food was delicious with plenty of local options.
Hello, I enjoyed your Marocco Fez video and would like to find out the airbnb info on your first stay and the contact for the sahara tour fro Fez that was only 2 days one night. Thanks so much! happy travels
I did not get to go to Tangier when I was in Morocco. I regret this, but I did see Fez, Maknes, Marrakech, Agadir, and the Atlas Mountains. Amazing country.
