It's taken me 2 decades to get over this sketch so thanks for undoing nearly 20 years of therapy. Like a lot of us Brits, just the word "Bitty" is enough to bring on the trauma again. 😂
When this was shown on the TV first i was watching it with my family at my parents house, my Mum thought he was asking for a Mcvittie, which is a brand of Biscuit..... When that happened, my Mum's face could have been photographed and used as the definition of total confusion, squinting and trying to get a closer look, and asking ME who was 15 years old at the time, what the Hell was happening.... I've never laughed so much in my life, i was crying with that much laughing me head ran out of water to cry. My Mum never stopped banging on about it for days on end, telling everyone on the street, asking how old the son is supposed to be... Ha ha ha, and your first split second reaction made almost choke... what a memory i forgot all about it... I'm seeing my mum tomorrow i might play the clip HA HA!!
As soon as I saw BITTY in the thumbnail I thought 'here we go" I seriously wondered if you would recoil in shock/horror BTW the mother is a highly regarded serious actress most deffo not known for comedy
Perfect reaction 😆There's a stereotype in the UK of very posh people sheltering their children for too long and breastfeeding them for longer than is comfortable; also, most kids stop calling their mum 'mummy' before they're like 10 but really posh people never stop using that word - the royal family do it all the time 😆
@@jordan_roadhouse4798 could you imagine if little Britain as made today. Just wouldn’t work at all. Happy it was made when it was. When people didn’t care.
and then the woke leftist narcissistic cacel mob clowns came and took literally ALL fun out of comedy.....haven t watched any new, i.e. P.C. comedy in 15 years...
My oldest son went to stay at his grans for the weekend when he was 9 yrs old the week after the first “bittie” episode aired. I had no idea he had sneaked 1/2 way down the stairs and watched it until I got a phone call from my mother asking what “bittie” was and could she get some from Sainsbury’s.
Welcome to the Bitty Trauma Club ~ nothing will ever erase that image from your mind, NOTHING!!! 😂😂😂 Definitely one for the Queen and, yeah, no warnings either, we want to see her reaction too xx
Hey, KB. I'm going to continue to float out the suggestion of reacting to the TV show, Green Wing. I honestly think you will fall in love with it's quirky and off the wall characters and style. So many little things you have said for some time now makes me think that Green Wing is the perfect blend for you. Also, it's a great opportunity to get in there ahead of the game and create a trend. So far, I have only been able to find one American who reacted to the first two episodes. I feel you will kick yourself, if you don't get in there now!
You'll LOVE this one: Hug A Leper Week | Little Britain | Lucas & Walliams: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Uv0VU0wcTsk.html&ab_channel=MattLucasandDavidWalliams
Not only that but to get the milk the cow has produced for her calf and humans drink it instead - what do you think happens to the calf - why they stab it to death and throw it away of course. We both can’t drink it.
@@sonofednawelthorpe8609 most cattle breeds produce enough to wean a calf and be productive. The female calves are the next generation of milk cows, the male ones get the short straw and become veal. They're certainly not thrown away. Townies, honestly...
Mummy is one of our classically trained actresses. These 2 used to do a skit about being attracted to old women. But it upset them so much they had to stop it. Little Britain = classic
Hahaha your reaction when she gave him bitty 🤣🤣🤣, brilliant. This shows a fav over here an have you watched gimmie gimmie gimmie with Kathy Burke?,that's very crude but hilarious you'll love it
After going through The Inbetweeners I’ve been hoping you’ll get to some more Little Britain. Some of it is absolutely fantastic and completely outrageous at the same time, and I look forward to both you and your lovely lady completely losing the plot over it.
Oh yes there is, charver, it's far worse now than what it was in the 70's, and i'm a mere 65, mr w. ( for that very reason i sacked the tele all together in 1990. )
Your face at 3:23😮🤣🤣🤣 This always reminds me of when my friend moved into his new home. His neighbour, who was a bit of a new age hippy, popped round to say hi and gave him some rice pudding that she'd just made as a welcome gift. At which point she told him it was made with her own breast milk! He politely took it, thanking her for the 'kind thought' but didn't eat it. Then when he returned the dish to her she asked if he'd like some of her home made placenta Pâté too!🤑
I just can not get enough of "Bitty" after all these years! If you need a Christmas present for a child, I highly recommend one of he`s children books, bitty!!😁😁😍😍
Would love to see you react to any Lttle Britain 'The Only Gay in the Village' clips, they are all brilliant, my favourite is when Dafydd interviews Elton John for Comic Relief
That one line sticks in my brain, when he says it in the boozer, and then a couple of "boys" come in. Splendid, 0001; do'nt watch tele now, at all, 'cos i aint got one !! And, if you DO decide to get shut, be prepared for 3 months of pestering/ threatening letters/visits from TVLA. Don't know what it's like now ( 1990, my grief) but i was "taken aback" by their persistence. Just a warning, like ; Hope ya do'nt need it.
KB✌️as soon as I saw the title I thought NOOOO he won't know where to look😂😂😂😂 most of Little Britain is extremely dangerous to the sensitivities of today, back then we couldn't get enough of it 😂😂 go have a lie down mate👍
...........love to see you introduce that to queen boomer 🤪 .also please remember this was broadcast on national television , at 9pm and we all just took it in our stride , 😁
Little britain was on BBC platfom wise, but temporarily removed from some platforms in 2020 then reinstated. Im not sure what platform the show is on in the USA. You should know theres Little Britain (the original), & a kinda spinoff called Little Britain USA which came after but the original is better to do first.
I'm not sure if you've had your question answered, but Little Britain was aired on BBC, it can be found on BBC iPlayer now but I'm not sure if you'll have any problems trying to view that in US.
I had a girlfriend who had breast fed her son until he was 6. I couldn't get the image out of my head of what morning break would require with her pushing a nipple through the school yard fence!!
As soon as I saw BITTY i had to watch and wait. Great reaction, deffo one for Queen Boomer without a warning. I know you did a clip of League of gentlemen but The series is funny and dark if you get the chance to watch the full episodes.
Hee hee hee… you are reacting EXACTLY like the population of this country did who watched this at the time , horrified and belly laughing in equal amounts . Your one of us KB 👍🏴
The woman is Geraldine James a serious quality actress with a track record of serious plays, theatre, films and TV over a few decades. When I first saw it I couldn't figure out why she did this apart from early dementia. The Little Britain series were originally all by the BBC. It's where most British comedy and stars have always started out. Although since it started in the early 1980s Channel 4 has introduced a lot of new comedy. BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 are owned at arm's length by HM British Government.
@@lewisgreen5081 you're right about that. I think that I was thinking about the time a few years when it was about to be bought by Channel 4 which would have made it so.
@@davidmarsden9800 and it’s a weird one with channel 4. The government own them but don’t fund them. C4 is funded solely by commercial income. Basically just a money generating revenue for the Government.
@@lewisgreen5081 that's the thing with Channel 4 and it's political stances and c4 news always attacking the government, they're paying for the privilege to the same government.
This sketch is wrong on so many levels but you can't help laughing 😆 Please can you do a reaction video for other Little Britain characters such as Bubbles or Marjorie Dawes. Those characters are epic.
King Boomer... Your mission should you choose to accept it... Is to ask Queen Boomer for "Bitty" when she comes home... Even though she'll have no idea what it is... Once she agrees!... Then i dare you to sit down together and watch this video with her... Don't worry though King Boomer... I'll have the Paramedics on standby for your safety. 🤣🤣🤣👌
It was a wonderful show at the beginning, at its best both brutal and hilarious in equal measure, but I always felt it got gradually less funny until it completely petered out altogether, I never even watched all of the later series and think there was a mixture of the two guys falling out and being cancelled, not sure what happened really. I really loved another series they were both in called 'Rock Profiles' before Little Britain, that was hilarious too, mimicking different famous pop stars each week, that was pretty brutal at times too.
