The thing with Ricky is that he adopts an offensive persona as part of his act. He's spoken about it, and unfortunately some people assume that he is actually like that when he's not. Love him, he's bright and pushes the envelope.

I'm not sure if you really got the dame Edna Everage and Eddie Izzard references. Edna Everage is actually Barry Humphries (in drag). Eddie Izzard doesn't only dress up as a woman he now says he wants to be known as a woman. In other words neither of the "female comedians" he quoted are actually female. If you think he's 'shitting on women' in any part of this video, as you implied he was, you've completely missed the point of that particular joke or anecdote. He's satirising attitudes towards women, in virtually every part of this video. He also makes tongue-in-cheek piss-takes of particular women but it's not because they're women. He does exactly the same thing with famous men and with those somewhere inbetween. :)

When Ricky was naming the funny women and said Eddie izzard, the other name he said was Dame Edna Everage, who was a funny austrailian comedian mostly during the 70-90's She was also a man, in drag named Barry humphries. We all knew, but that was the character, IIRC Barry only ever really played one other main character and that was Les Patterson who was a disgusting MP, your typical fat politician who had a bit of his dinner down his shirt.. Most people hated Les just because he was gross.
