Most of the chants are made up on the day, one guy will create the chant, then the others will start joining in and eventually the whole stand sings it. These chants then are repeated in future and become well known. They also are often the same chants but they will change the specifics to match the opponent.
The big drawback with Messi is that he's never played in the world's most exciting and best league, the English Premier League, let alone win a trophy there. 👍👍👍
But he has played against the best England has had to offer in the Champs league and scored many a goal. He has won where ever he has played and is also a world cup winner, European Champions league ect He had nothing to prove by playing in England. His record against English clubs is played 35, scored 27 against Arsenal, Man City, United, Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool.
"The World's Greatest Football Fans: Ultras/Europe". All the atmosphere, passion, songs and amazing spectacles without the violence. It's on RU-vid. ENJOY, My friends and thanks for this as I enter my 8th decade in London in 15 days. Thanks, also, for the volume which really brought home the sound of the terraces. Most fans stand although they are "All Seater Stadiums".lol
Ronaldo is not the GOAT by a long way, Messi is much better and let's not forget Maradona, Pele, Zidane to name but a few players who were better than Ronaldo.
Football chants have been around for decades, way before social media and WhatsApp. One guy makes up a chant, then his mates/small group learn it and start chanting. Over a few weeks that chant starts to be learnt by the rest of the crowd around that seating area and it spreads to the whole of that stand then stadium. Simples.
